Question
Are some forms of inherited traits more common than others?
Hypothesis
We think that most people will have brown hair and blond hair .Very few people will have black and red hair. We know this because on our sample survey 11 people have brown hair, 7 people have blond hair,1 person has black hair, and 3 people have red hair.
Materials
People we survey, paper and pencil, and a table of traits
Control
Surveying every student for every trait
Variable
Every students’ traits will be different.
Procedure
First, make a chart of hair color traits and use it to record your data. Second, survey MGS students for their hair color. Third, record the data on the chart.

Conclusion Our hypothesis was correct! One hundred and forty-
three people have brown, 75 people have blond, 19 people has black hair, and 12 people have red hair. Our question can now be answered. Yes, some forms of inherited traits are more common than others.
