Neuropathy with ECG

recorder.

A patient monitor may not only alert care givers

to potentially Life-threatening events; many

provide physiologic input data used to control

directly connected life-support devices. Foot

Neuropathy is a serious medical disorder and can

be prevented by the early detection of abnormal

pressure patterns under the foot. By a sending

imperceptible vibration through the feet of

Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients significantly

improves the damaged nerves and stimulates

blood flow. In this we collect ECG, Temperature

and foot neuropathy sensors data from patient and

send it through RF to PC. In PC there is Visual

basic application in that we show the ECG graph

and other sensors data.

5 An innovative non-

intrusive driver

assistance system for

vital signal monitoring.

(IEEE-2013)

This project describes an in-vehicle non–intrusive

bio-potential measurement system for driver

health monitoring & fatigue detection. Previous

research has found that the physiological signals

including eye features, (ECG),

Electroencephalography (EEG) and their

secondary parameters such as HR and HRV are

good indicators of health state as well as driver

fatigue. A conventional bio- potential

measurement system requires the electrodes to be

in contact with human body. This not only

interferes with the driver operation, but also is not

feasible for long-term monitoring purpose. The

driver assistance system in this paper can

remotely detect the bio-potential signals with no

6 Portable camera-based

assistive text and product

label reading from hand-

held objects for blind

In this project, we propose a camera-based

assistive text reading framework to help blind

persons read text labels and product packaging

from hand-held objects in their daily lives. To

isolate the object from cluttered backgrounds or

other surrounding objects in the camera view, we

first propose an efficient and effective motion-

based method to define a region of interest (ROI)

in the video by asking the user to shake the

object. This method extracts moving object

region by a mixture-of-Gaussians-based

background sub-traction method. In the extracted

ROI, text localization and recognition are

conducted to acquire text information. To

automatically localize the text regions from the

object ROI, we propose a novel text localization

algorithm by learning gradient features of stroke

orientations and distributions of edge pixels in an

Adaboost model.

the cars is increasing. In this project, a wireless

inspection and notification system (WINS)

through the concept of 0Internet of Things (IoT)

is proposed. By applying the system, it is possible

to smoothly realize a green traffic network. In this

system, Radio frequency identification (RFID)

technology as a low-cost and mature wireless

communication method is adopted to collect and

transmit emissions information of vehicles. The

RFID devices need to be installed on the traffic

lights so that reliable reading of emissions signals

from a vehicle can be interrogated when the

vehicles stop in front of the red light.)

the autonomously driving car has to be precise,

reliable and real-time capable. If an object crosses

the path of the vehicle, the system has to raise a

warning to avoid a collision. Because arbitrary

objects (e.g., other vehicles, small / tall humans,

bicycles, or animals) should be recognized by the

system, size and shape constraints are ignored.

We design and realize a low power AMT

acquisition network based on Zigbee, GPS and

ARM based embedded control system. Each

AMT acquisition unit is composed of power

supply module, GPS module, ARM module, and

data acquisition module. The power supply

module is controlled by the GPIO of the Zigbee

Pro module. Power supply for GPS module,

ARM module, data acquisition module, and

induction coils can be switched on or off remotely

by Zigbee network. The GPS module offers

clocks and timing signals for the data acquisition

module.

human targets is a task of recognized importance

and difficulty. In this paper, we describe a

Various fall-detection solutions have been

previously proposed to create a reliable

surveillance system for elderly people with high

requirements on accuracy, sensitivity and

specificity. In this paper, an enhanced fall

detection system is proposed for elderly person

monitoring that is based on smart sensors worn on

the body and operating through consumer home

networks. With treble thresholds, accidental falls

can be detected in the home healthcare

environment. By utilizing information gathered

from an accelerometer, cardio tachometer and

smart sensors, the impacts of falls can be logged

and distinguished from normal daily activities.)

In order to improve the way of data collection and

workflow of vital signs measurement in hospital,

this paper proposed a Tablet PC based vital signs

data collection and information system. This

scanner. The Tablet PC and wireless devices are

put on a cart to serve as a mobile nursing

information system unit. All of the devices have

An algorithmic framework is proposed to process

acceleration and surface electromyography

(SEMG) signals for gesture recognition. It

includes a novel segmentation scheme, a score-

based sensor fusion scheme, and two new

features. A Bayes linear classifier and an

improved dynamic time-warping algorithm are

utilized in the framework. In addition, a prototype

system, including a wearable gesture sensing

device [embedded with a three-axis accelerometer

and four SEMG sensors] and an application

program with the proposed algorithmic

framework for a mobile phone, is developed to

capacitive sensing system suitable for detecting

presence of a child in an infant car seat. It also

details a warning system that alarms the parents

Infant seat with child is, usually, kept (safely) in

the rear seat. Driver and passengers, in some

situations, may leave the car without taking

[forgetting] the child. When a car is turned-off

[windows closed] temperature inside it will

increase rapidly and can be life threatening as the

thermoregulatory system of child is weak. Such

incidents have been reported worldwide.

personalized health information of the end-user,

various wireless (Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi) and

wired (USB) sensors. Embedded sensors of the

mobile device provide additional useful status

information (such as: user location, magnetic or

This project presents a child activity recognition

approach using a single 3-axis accelerometer and

a barometric pressure sensor worn on a waist of

the body to prevent child accidents such as

unintentional injuries at home. Labeled

accelerometer data are collected from children of

both sexes up to the age of 16 to 29 months. To

recognize daily activities, mean, standard

deviation, and slope of time-domain features are

calculated over sliding windows.

System. (IEEE 2013) PIR sensors are placed on the ceiling, and the

ultrasonic sensor module consists of a transmitter

and a receiver which are placed in a line

direction. We use two groups of the external

hardware circuits, the PIR and the ultrasonic

sensor group. As the PIR sensor produces a weak

voltage, we input the sensed signal to a two-stage

OP amplifier to amplify the weak voltage by

about 1000 times. Since the amplified signal

changes between positive and negative voltage,

we input this signal to the absolute value circuit,

and then we input it to the adjustable comparator

to compare the sensing voltage and the reference

voltage which are set according to the

environment temperature.

The monitoring system consists of a number of

intelligent wireless sensor nodes that are

distributed in the observed environment. The

sensor nodes are connected to an Internet-enabled

computer system, which is installed on site for

disseminating relevant soil information and

providing remote access to the monitoring

system. Autonomous software programs, labeled

“mobile software agents”, are embedded into the

wireless sensor nodes to continuously analyze the

soil parameters and to autonomously trigger

irrigation events based on the actual soil

conditions and on weather data integrated from

external sources.

performance of the simulated WSSs is evaluated

using statistical report results. The proposed

surveillance system can be fully extended to

several different kinds of applications, such as,

health care and environmental inspection

Unmanned Vehicles

Using Vehicular Adhoc

system for Unmanned Ground Vehicles using

Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET). VANET

is a perfect option for vehicle to vehicle

communication to share the Information with

each other. An Information Control Unit will be

attached in-built with all unmanned ground

vehicles to share the information. An Information

Control unit consists of front and rear Radar

Radio Detection and Ranging, Event Data

Recorder, GPS, Sensor, and a communication

system. When a failure detected in an Unmanned

Ground vehicle due to the enemy attack, the

tactical information will be shared with the

neighbored UGVs among the VANET about the

status of failed UGV. The damaged UGV will be

replaced immediately with the neighbor to fill up

the gap using the Tactical information shared

using the Wireless Application for Vehicle

Environment SMS protocol. This information is

used to avoid collision also during fog.

complete system designed to monitor and control

the humidity inside a green house. This software

uses an Android mobile phone, connected using

This project presents an electronic navigation

system for visually imp aired and blind

people. This system understands obstacles around

the subject up to 500 cm in front, left and right

direction using a network of ultrasonic sensors. It

effectively calculates distance of the detected

object from the subject and prepares navigation

path accordingly avoiding obstacles. It uses

speech feedback to aware the subject about the

detected obstacle and its distance. This proposed

system uses microcontroller based embedded

system to process real time data collected using

ultrasonic sensor network. Based on direction and

distance of detected obstacle, relevant pre-

recorded speech message stored in voice flash

memory is invoked. Such speech messages are

conveyed to the subject using earphone.

In this project we propose a bus system using

WSNs. The blind people in the bus station are

provided with a Zigbee unit which is recognized

by the Zigbee in the bus and the indication is

made in the bus that the blind people is present in

the station. So the bus stops at the particular

station. The desired bus that the blind want to

take is notified to him with the help of speech

recognition system. The blind gives the input

about the place he has to reach using microphones

and the voice recognition system recognizes it

.The input is then analyzed by the microcontroller

which generates the bus numbers corresponding

to the location provided by the blind. These bus

numbers are converted into audio output using the

voice synthesizer. The Zigbee transceiver in the

bus sends the bus number to the transceiver with

the blind and the bus number is announced to the

blind through the headphones. The blind takes the

right bus parked in front of him and when the

In this paper, a real-time Human-Computer

Interaction based on the hand data glove gesture

recognition is proposed. This paper presents a

wearable prototype model for Hand gesture

recognition system using MEMS which is capable

of recognizing eight hand gesture, based on the

signal from 3-axes MEMS accelerometer. The

accelerations of a hand motion in three

perpendicular directions are detected by

accelerometers and acceleration values were

transmitted to microcontroller. An automatic

gesture recognition algorithm is developed to

identify individual gestures in a sequence.

Finally, the gesture is recognized by comparing

the acceleration values with the stored templates.

According to recognized gestures, respective

commands are performed.

The motivation is to replace the walking stick

with something that can detect objects in the

immediate vicinity of the person. A sonar sensing

modality will be used to gather information about

the environment, and then feedback will be

delivered to the user by varying vibration stimuli.

The vibrators are mounted on a glove to allow the

user to point the device in any direction. This has

the advantage of having as many degrees of

freedom as the hand and requires fewer actuators

and sensors compared to a head-mounted display.

In this proposed system the question papers will

be sent to the examination centers in the

electronically locked box, which cannot be

opened before the predefined date and time. The

box can be opened by authentic user only. The

password to open individual sub box. When the

Password, date and timing matches, the box will

open through a motorized mechanism. This will

help the papers to remain locked and sealed till

motion, which may cause the vehicle door locks

to unlock. Likewise, pressing the switch on the

key fob and making a downward motion may

GPS coordinates as well as the name of place in

the serial memory. The i2c bus based serial

EEPROM is used to store these co-ordinates in

memory. The µc unit receives these coordinates

and compares it with the co-ordinates stored in

serial memory. If both match, the corresponding

name is displayed on the LCD and the voice

annulment is played.

all these signals and send them to server for

continuous monitoring and notification. A device

will be attached to the patient with sensors

link. At the server end the signals are

consists of four modules: In-BUS Module, BASE

bus number and license plate number to In-BUS

temperature of engine, distance travelled, status

of fuel, location information by using sensors and

of engine by using buzzer and LED , ultrasonic is

also connected for collision avoidance . In this

reader the microcontroller reads the data from the

EEPROM card and these parameters will send to

the computer via an RS 232 interface. The

computer front end is designed with VB interface

which is used to create the event logger and

graphical representation of these data.

The detailed block diagram of our system is. It

consists of power supply, AVR microcontroller

this the person at ATM request for the PIN of

account holder through SMS as it uses encrypted

messages. Then he will enter the PIN through

keypad which will be displayed in LCD. After

this the account holder will get a call through

IVRS in which he will confirm his PIN and the

amount to be withdrawn.

Here in this project we are using multiple SD

cards to increase the security feature in

combination of RC4 secure algorithm. Three

different passwords will be stored in three

different SD cards. The Password combination

will be given to the user via an SMS. The user has

prescribed in the SMS. The µC will decode the

password stored in the SD card using the IEEE

based RC4 decryption algorithm. If the SD cards

have been inserted in the right order and the all

the three passwords match then the User is

granted access.

used to interface the microcontroller board via a

GSM modem and control the valve timings. An

additional ADC board is provided to collect

moisture level feedback from various regions of

the field. This helps the user in collecting

In this project, We are using Accelerometer i.e.

tilt sensor, Load cell, GSM Modem & Buzzer.

We put vibration sensor in land. Vibration sensor

detects vibrations. When we found change in land

then signal send to AVR microcontroller. AVR

already defined in program. If the value is

different so microcontroller send alert messages

to authority and start buzzer. As well as we put

load cell on road side. In program we set some

threshold level of soil or land pieces drop on load

cell. If small amount or things drop on load cell

we send an alert message to authority i.e. small

land is slides. AS same we sends alert message to

all threshold level to authorities. And buzzer is

used for at that place if any people is there, they

leave that place because may be land are slides.

72 Digital Scanner Using

Phototransistors &

MATLAB.

Normally, image scan is done with a CCD

overlaid with a photoactive layer of silicon. When

light strikes the sensor array, the CCD shifts

charge through stages of capacitors into a charge

amplifier, which in turn converts the charge to a

voltage signal. Repeating this process creates a

digitizable signal that the scanner stores into

memory to create an image. Our goal for this

project was to explore the concept of using an

array of phototransistors to replace the function of

the photoactive silicon layer. We built an array of

phototransistors and attached them to an X-Y

plotter so that they could scan a large area. Light

signal detected by phototransistors is captured by

the Mega644 A/D converter and then transmitted

to MATLAB using a serial connection.

Number plate recognition is a form of automatic

vehicle identification. A number plate is the

unique identification of vehicle. It is an image

processing technology used to identify vehicles

by their own number plates. It has wide

applications areas such as toll plaza, parking area,

highly security areas, boarder’s areas etc. Optical

Character Recognition (OCR) is widely used

technology which converts scanned images of

printed text, handwritten text characters into

machine encoded text information such as ASCII.

It can be recognized printed characters and

handwritten characters. We are using two optical

sensors that are connected to the microcontroller

in which detects the speed of the vehicle. These

two sensors are connected at some fixed distance.

75 Power Saving Solder

Station.

Soldering stations comes in a variety of prices

and capabilities. The cheaper stations have a

power controller, to control the power delivered

to the soldering iron. More expensive stations will

have a temperature controller near the tip of the

soldering iron, and control the temperature using

this feedback. We will use a 30 Watt soldering

iron for the job. We will measure the temperature

as close to the tip as possible. A controller circuit

will read the temperature. A keypad will be used

to set the requested temperature with keys,

according to which the controller will turn on or

off the soldering iron heater. We will also detect

whether solder gun is on stand or not accordingly

we decrease the temperature. When the person

take solder gun from stand the temperature of gun

start increasing within seconds.

In this project, we are using microcontroller

AVR. Alcohol sensor, limit switch and RF

transceiver is connected to microcontroller. In our

system if the person not wearing helmet then the

bike ignition is not start. As the person wear

helmet and switch ON bike then the ignition of

bike is ON. We are checking the person is

wearing helmet or not through limit switch. When

the person wear helmet limit switch pressed then

the bike ignition is ON. We also connect an

alcohol detecting sensor. If bike rider is drunk

then alcohol sensor detects then microcontroller

send data via RF to receiver side RF. Receiver

side RF receive that data and it takes action i.e.

ignition OFF.

In this paper we propose the concept of replacing

manual work / job in public distribution system

(rationing distribution system in India) by

automated system which can be installed at the

ration shop with ease. In this automated system

we replace the conventional ration card by smart

card in which all the details about users are

provided including their AADHAR (social

security) number which is used for user

authentication. This prompted us to interface

smart card reader (RFID Based) to the

microcontroller (AT89C51) and PC via RS232 to

develop such a system. Using such a system,

Government would have all required

control/monitoring over the transactions at ration

shop. To involve Government in the process we

proposed connecting the system at ration shop to

a central database (provided by Govt.) via GSM

around an attendance sheet for student's signature

to confirm his/her presence. Using these methods

Therefore a method of taking attendance using

instructor's mobile telephone has been presented

in this paper which is paperless, quick, and

accurate. Application software installed in the

instructor's mobile telephone enables it to query

students' mobile telephone via Bluetooth

connection and, through transfer of students'

mobile telephones' Media Access Control (MAC)

addresses to the instructor's mobile telephone;

presence of the student can be confirmed.

Moreover, detailed record of a student's

attendance can also be generated for printing and

filing, if needed.

Vocalizer discussed is basically a data glove and

of sensors: The bend sensors and accelerometers

Glove

We present a set of distance-based interaction

techniques for modeling and manipulation,

enabled by a new input device called the

ultrasonic gloves. The ultrasonic gloves are

built upon the original design of the pinch

glove device for virtual reality systems with a

tilt sensor and a pair of ultrasonic transducers in

the palms of the gloves. The transducers are

distance-ranging sensors that allow the user to

specify a range of distances by natural gestures

such as facing the palms towards each other

or towards other surfaces. The user is able to

create virtual models of physical objects by

specifying their dimensions with hand gestures.

We combine the reported distance with the tilt

orientation data to construct virtual models. We

also map the distance data to create a set of affine

transformation techniques, including relative and

fixed scaling, translation, and rotation. Our

techniques can be generalized to different sensor

technologies.

Touch-screen all-in-one-machine is the simplest,

most convenient and most natural human-

computer interaction method as a new kind of

computer input devices. For the disadvantages of

the current touch screen systems such as the

relatively simple function of the system and the

lack of security features, this project proposes a

common software interface, which makes use of

wirelessly browsing of the remote data, provides

the authorized access mechanism based on secure

access control, and achieves classification access

of the remote data. For this purpose we make use

of combination of Touch screen, graphics LCD

and a Pen drive. Here the user has to enter the

password via touch screen. If the password

matches then the access to the remote terminal is

granted. After that through a wireless RF link the

hand held device can start receiving the data from

the remote terminal. This data can be viewed on

the graphics LCD. Also we can store the data on

Pen drive in text file format (.txt). The user can

then see the data on Pen drive for further analysis.

The data logger unit has all the sensors and the

RF transmitter.

Accelerometer.

The aged are faced with increasing risk for falls.

The aged have the easily fragile bones than

others. When falls have occurred, it is important

to detect this emergency state because such

events often lead to more serious illness or even

death. An implementation of PDA system, for

detection of emergency situation, was developed

using 3-axis accelerometer in this paper as

follows. The signals were acquired from the 3-

axis accelerometer, and then transmitted to the

PDA through Bluetooth module. This system can

classify the human activity, and also detect the

emergency state like falls. When the fall occurs,

the system generates the alarm on the PDA. If a

subject does not respond to the alarm, the system

determines whether the current situation is an

emergency state or not, and then sends some

information to the emergency center in the case of

urgent situation.

Motor. The servo Motor is used to rotate the LDR

and solar panel to sense the max solar power. The

solar panel will generate the input for charging

the battery, the buck and the boost converters will

do the conditioning of both the voltage as well as

the current. After that there will be controlling

section for the current and voltage which will

ensure the proper and good battery charging. The

corresponding controllers will control the voltage

and the current to a level which is ideal for the

proper battery charging. Then the final section is

the battery to be charged. After battery charging

then we uses it to drive LEDs of street light.

further hand-held devices which form a command

and control section. The on board camera is a

wide angle field camera with night mode

operability. We are also trying to fix a gun

assembly on the buggy which will make it self

sufficient. A GPS module is to be integrated on

the buggy for its precise positioning. We are also

trying to integrate the device into a fuzzy logic

network so that a collection of buggies like these

can work in tandem to protect the shores from

unwanted infiltration. It will also patrol 24x7 and

visit places which are difficult for humans to

patrol.

97 PC Mouse Control

Based on Gesture

Technology

In this project we are using the accelerometer.

This has the micro controller interface as shown

in the block diagram below. Initially the user

has to mount the same on his head, when the

user moves the head front the mouse pointer

will move up and if he gets his head in the

normal position it will stop and similarly if he

moves the head backwards the mouse pointer

will move down and when he moves left and

right the pointer will move in the left and right

directions respectively. This data is then

decoded by the micro controller and will send

the data in the wireless mode using the RF TX.

At the other end the RF RX will read the data

and then the micro controller will drive the

mouse using the controller, which is connected

to the USB port of the PC.

102 Traffic Light control

using SWARM

Intelligence with Image

Processing

Based on the above mentioned idea, our system

will work as follows. A camera will be mounted

on the each lane of the signal on a junction.

Camera will feed the video to a pc. A matlab

based digital image processing will be done on

the video frames to calculate the amount of

traffic. If traffic will be found more on that

particular lane using image processing ,that signal

will be given to a microcontroller.

Microcontroller will increase the on time of the

green light on that signal. Acting as a social

insect (using swarm intelligence) traffic signal

will send command to its previous junction using

wireless technology. On the previous junction,

traffic signal will divert traffic in alternate

direction. Also Traffic signal will reduce the

amount of traffic going on the next signal by

reducing the on time of green light.

Technology

We are interfacing a resistive touch screen to the

µc. As soon as the user presses the touch screen,

the µc can identify the area of the touch screen

and can take corresponding action. Also we are

interfacing a ZIGBEE module to the µc. As soon

as the user touches the screen the control signal is

sent to the receiver module via ZIGBEE wireless

RF module. After receiving the frame the µc

decodes the frame and takes the corresponding

movement of the crane. Such as forward, reverse,

The basic objective of our project is to develop a

system that would be safe and secure. In some

cases cheque drop boxes are stolen from the ATM

center and the cheque depositor does not have any

proof of his transaction. By developing this

project a cheque depositor would have the details

of his transaction and would thus have a proof of

his transaction. Developing a real time

application on such idea would be less time

consuming which would make the system more

efficient than the earlier one. This makes the

system more transparent for the customer as well

as for the bank.

This project describes a real-time prototype

computer vision system for monitoring driver

vigilance. The main components of the system

consists of a remotely located video CCD camera,

a specially designed hardware system for real-

time image acquisition and for controlling the

illuminator and the alarm system, and various

computer vision algorithms for simultaneously,

real-time and non-intrusively monitoring various

visual bio-behaviors that typically characterize a

driver’s level of vigilance. The visual behaviors

include eyelid movement, face orientation, and

gaze movement (pupil movement). The system

was tested in a simulating environment with

subjects of different ethnic backgrounds, different

genders, ages, with/without glasses, and under

different illumination conditions, and it was

found very robust, reliable and accurate.

Autonomous Vehicle.

We have used ARM7 as a base device. GPS,

GSM module, MMA7660FC and RFID tag is

connected with serial port of the controller.

Whenever vehicle meets with an accident the

MMA7660FC triggers the embedded module for

rescue operation. Embedded module gets area

information from GPS receiver module and the

alert information is sent through the GSM

module. GPS receiver gets area information on

the road unit. In addition to embedded module

one special RFID Tag is placed inside vehicle to

transmit vehicle information. In the traffic signal

management system RFID reader and display

informer unit are connected with serial port of the

microcontroller. If vehicle insurance, pollution

test, FC is not proper, the alert system will

produce beep sound and vehicle number is

displayed. Then the traffic police can easily alert

the driver / owner. Traffic signal is managed by

counting the number of vehicles crossing the

reader area in a particular time interval. Here the

data collected by the antennas are given to the

reader via multiplexer switch. This method will

save RFID reader usage and money. By this we

can manage the traffic intelligently.

137 Wireless MSEB meter

reading vehicle using

GPRS

The project is to design a wirelessly send meter

reading that can be more effective in billing.

There is one MSEB vehicle in that have a RF

receiver that take readings from all energy meters

that are fix in each house. In each meter we are

connecting a microcontroller, RF module. The

microcontroller taking continuous reading from

energy meter and microcontroller transmit that

meter reading and Meter ID continuously with the

help of RF transmitter. As the MSEB vehicle is

going through that RF transmitter range then the

RF transmit current meter reading to MSEB

vehicle’s RF. MSEB vehicle RF receive that

reading with and send to microcontroller then

there is one option for saving of all meter reading.

These readings are uploaded to internet with the

help of GPRS.

Drilling Machine

Creating holes on single or multilayer printed

circuit boards (PCBs) is an important stage in

electronic production. Holes of different sizes and

at a large number of positions (up to thousands)

must be drilled with high precision for manual or

automatic insertion of various electronic devices

and components. For this purpose, we have

designed and built an automatic PCB drilling

machine. The PCB pattern of the circuit

schematic diagram is drawn on the monitor

screen, with the help of software such as Orcad.

This pattern layout is printed out to make the

PCB, and it’s just from this layout the computer

will control the drilling automatically.

and throttle commands. Automatic commands can

never cause the violation of predefined upper and

lower speed limits. An IR sensor arrays are used

to detect the arrival of the vehicle in road. The

time taken for the IR sensor to travel the distance

from the system to the subject and back to the

system is accurately measured by the

microcontroller.

VB. When we send command to hold and cut

wire then the robotic arm perform these actions.

with android mobile

application using Wi-Fi

In this project we are continuously displaying &

monitoring sensor data. These data are transferred

through CC2500 RF module to control section.

We set threshold level of each sensor in

programming of microcontroller. If any of them

sensor value changes to threshold level then

control unit detect that data and start relay for

controlling. For example: if the temperature is

going above threshold level then it transmits data

to control unit. Control unit check data and start a

relay to control the temperature. We connect

fan/cooler in relay to control the temperature. All

Monitoring System

The microcontroller-based power consumption

monitoring system is an electronic device used to

continuously monitor the parameters of power

such as current, and meter reading etc at the

various points of an electric or electronics

devices. The entire system is controlled by the

microcontroller (AVR ATmega16) and it is the

real time monitoring of various parameters. This

system consist of LCD, signal conditioning

circuit for CT, current transformer, Comparator,

opto–isolator, energy meter, EEPROM and

buzzer etc. In this system we are continuously

monitoring data from current transformer. When

the load is connected the current will increase

then we can calculate the power consumption and

detect the theft of electricity. When theft is

detected then the buzzer started. Also we are

monitoring of meter reading.

In this project we are focusing on the

development of a measurement hand gripper to

help handicap patient due to accident and

diseases. Typically, human hand motion can be

broadly divided into two categories as either

voluntary or involuntary. The former is

intentional, such as throwing a baseball or

changing the TV channel using a remote control

while the latter is unintentional movement. An

example of involuntary hand motion is the small

vibration in a person’s hand when trying to keep

his / her hand still, due to small imperfections in

the human body’s biomechanical feedback

mechanisms. Thus, an important part of this

mechanism is the loss of the neurotransmitter

dopamine in a group of brain structures that

control the movements. Its major manifestations

are variable but can include hand tremor,

slowness of movements, limb stiffness, and

difficulties with gait and balance. In healthy

people this involuntary hand motion is small but

those who are suffering from neurological

disorder, such as Parkinson’s disease, there is a
