Different perspective:Refleti se a culpa da ineficiência seria realmente do funcionário. O desinteresse e a falta de motivação vem de onde afinal? A cultura do ambiente de trabalho é o que afeta a motivação e o engajamento das pessoas? A luz da resposta veio durante uma palestra do Niels Pflaeging no Agile Brazil em 2013, onde ele apresentou a Teoria X e a Teoria Y de Douglas McGregor. Então comecei a refletir como que eu poderia ajudar com a minha função de agile coaching nos times ágeis. Comecei a acreditar e concretamente tratar todas as pessoas e times de acordo com a Teoria Y. Resultado: as pessoas naturalmente vão agindo como Y.

New Thinking:As pessoas querem realmente melhorar e serem felizes no seu trabalho, o problema é a cultura histórica da empresa que impede a melhoria. O problema é não ter problemas a melhorar. Assumindo então que as pessoas são "Y" em sua essência, posso agir no ambiente para refletir a mudança na cultura da empresa, ajudando as pessoas a melhorarem seu trabalho e serem mais felizes no trabalho.

Strategy to put in practice: Realizar constantemente pequenas melhorias, gerando a menor resistência e vendo beleza no caos. Comecei a estudar e observar mais sobre o comportamento humano em grupos para gerar a menor resistência possível num ambiente de mudança. Ver beleza no caos é que eu gosto de dizer para chamar a atenção da importância de sermos otimistas e termos um sonho grande de transformação.
