    Charge your headset's battery for 2 hours:

    Plug the Motorola charger into the end ofthe headset.

    The blue indicator light turns on when the

    battery is charging. It may take up to 1minute for the light to turn on. When theheadset's battery is fully charged (about 2hours), the blue indicator light turns off.

    Unplug the charger from the headset.

    Select ( Menu) > Settings > Connection >Bluetooth Link > Setup.

    Scroll to Power.

    Press Change.

    Scroll to On.

    Press Select to turn on the Bluetoothfeature. Bluetooth feature remains on until

    you turn it off.

    Your phone's Bluetooth feature is off bydefault. To use your headset, turn on theBluetooth feature in your phone.

    TROUBLESHOOTING

    My phone does not find my headset.Make sure the blue light on your headset issteadily lit when your phone is searching fordevices (see step 3).

    My headset worked before but now it'snot working.Make sure your phone is on and theBluetooth feature is turned on in your phone(see step 2). If the Bluetooth feature has

    been turned off or was turned on onlytemporarily, you may need to restart theBluetooth feature (see step 2). If you haveconfirmed the Bluetooth feature is on in yourphone, pair your phone and headset again

    With the headset power off, press and holdthe Call button for 6 to 10 seconds until theblue indicator light turns on and remainssteadily lit. (The light will flash while youhold the Call button.)

    If the indicator light is flashing or does notremain steadily lit, turn off the headset and

    repeat step 1.

    Select ( Menu) > Settings > Connection >Bluetooth Link > Handsfree > Look for Dev

    The phone lists all Bluetooth devices it finds.Select Motorola H500.

    Press OK or Yes to pair (link) the handsfreedevice.Enter the passkey 0000 and press OK.Note: Passkey cannot be changedfrom 0000.

    When your headset is successfully paired withyour phone, the blue indicator light changes

    Your phone and headset are now paired andready to make and receive calls. To confirmthey are operating properly, make a call:

    TEST AND USE

    Place the headset over your ear. See"Wearing the Headset" on the reverse sideof this guide.

    On your phone, dial the number you wantto call and press the Sendkey.

    If your phone and headset are successfullypaired, you will hear ringing on the headset.

    CHANGING FOR USEON OTHER EAR

    Open the earhook 90degrees from theheadset.

    Gently lift and pull thetop of the earhook upand off the upper hingepin. Then, pull it away toremove it.

    Flip the headset over.

    Hook the bottom of theearhook onto the lowerhinge pin, then lift and pullthe top of the earhook overthe upper hinge pin.

    If you change your headset to wear on theother ear, you can also change theorientation of the volume buttons.

    Turn the headset power off.

    Press the Call button and the volumebutton you want to assign as the"volume up" button until the indicatorlight flashes twice.
