Workforce Diversity for Ten Selected Companies

The Calvert Investment 2013 Diversity Report noted that a significant number of Fortune 100

and other major companies do not disclose any employee demographic data.1 While the

companies reviewed in this report have strong reputations for diversity, many of them limit their

employee demographic data to gender and omit racial and ethnic categories. Where available,

this report updates the information provided in the 2012 report by Diversity Best Practices,

Benchmarks for Workforce Diversity: A Look at Ten Industry Leaders. When more current

information is not available, the 2012 data is included. The following information presents readily

available information. Sources used to gather this data come from company websites, annual

reports, sustainability reports, and business publications.
