Fire resistant grills Gz60 are installed in walls or doors in order to prevent the propagation of fire. The rectangular fire resistant grill Gz60 is composed of plastic sleeves (polystyrene) in light aluminium colour (RAL 9022) filled with intumescent strips. The rectangular fire resistant grill Gz60 has a fire resistance up to 60'. • Tested according to EN 1634-1, EN 1364-1 en EN 1364-2 • Suitable for mounting in massive wall, massive floor, wooden door and flexible wall (metalstud gypsum plasterboard walls) • Easy to install • For interior applications • Non transparant • Available in all colours on demand • Aesthetic finish • Intumescent lamellas (as from 100°C)

1. Provide in the ceiling a min. opening = (Wn+30)x (Hn+30).
2 Fix in the opening a frame in calcium silicate boards (with a thickness of 15mm) with standard mortar.
3. Attach calcium silicate support bars (with a thickness of 15mm) at the lower side of the installation.
4. Install the grill in the oor/ceiling.

Cartongesso con telaio metallico:• Telaio in acciaio con profi lati quadrati disposti in verticale e orizzontale (sp. minimo 50 mm)• Materassini in lana di roccia di spessore 40mm e densità pari a 40 kg/m3
• Doppia pannellatura: due pannelli standard in cartongesso su entrambi i lati
1. Predisporre un’apertura minima nella parete = (Bn + 30) x (Hn + 30)
2. Applicare su un lato della parete due pannelli in cartongesso di sp-essore 12,5 mm
3. Isolare l’interno della parete con materassini in lana di roccia e ap-plicare i 2 pannelli in cartongesso sull’altro lato
4. Installare una cornice in calcio silicato (spessore 15 mm) all’apertura con malta standard
5. Iniettare sigillante/adesivo BCM su tutti i lati della griglia
6. Montare la griglia nella parete

Installation in flexible wall - Metal Stud Gypsum wall
The grill was tested in a metal stud gypsum plasterboard wall with a minimum re resistance of 60' and a thickness of 100mm.
A metal stud gypsum plasterboard wall consists of:
• A metal framework made out of horizontal and vertical metal studs (min. thickness 50mm)• Stonewool with a thickness of 40mm and a density of 40 kg/m³ between the boards• Double boarding: two standard gypsum boards on both sides

1. Provide a minimum installationopening in the wall= (Wn+30)x(Hn+30)mm.
2. Attach two standard gypsum boards with a thickness of 12,5mm to one side of the metal stud wall.
3. Insulate with stonewool (min. 40kg/m³) and nish with two standard gypsum boards.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
If there is too much dust on the surface, clean it with a soft tissue, moisten with a mild, soapy water. Do not use a scrub sponge, alcaline/acid cleanser or solvants such as alcohol and thinner. The use of such materials can damage the grill.
