Physical Appearance:Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Boards have smoother surface than concrete walls which makes it easier to decorate by paint, wall paper and wall tiles.

Thermal Insulation: EN 12524Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board core is non combustible and provides thermal insulation. It does not absorb heat, and the co efficient of heat is lower than other decorative materials such as concrete, brick, glass, tiles etc, hence Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Boards can give better prevention from heat transfers. Buildings with centralized air conditioning, it is important to keep the cold air from escaping, Hence a good thermal insulation blocks the external heat from penetrating cooled areas thus keeping the cooling costs down and it also help to conserve energy and reduce heating costs.

Fire protection:Gypsemna Fire Wall Plaster Board linings provide good fire protection due to the unique behavior of the non-combustible gypsum core in high temperatures. The Gypsemna Fire Wall Plastic Board systems are generally built to withstand the fire for the design period.

Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board Properties and Advantages

General: It is important to observe appropriate health and safety legislation when working on site i.e. personal protective clothing and equipments, etc. The following notes are intended for general guidance only. In practice, consideration must be given to design criteria requiring specific project solutions.

Handling: Manual off-loading of this product should be carried out with care to avoid unnecessary strain.

Cutting: This product may be cut using a Plaster Board saw or by scoring with a sharp knife and snapping the board over a straight edge. Holes for switch or socket boxes should be cut out, using a utility saw or a sharp knife, before the boards are fixed. When cutting

boards, power and hand tools should be used with utmost care. Power tools should only be used by people who have been instructed and trained to use them safely. Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used.

Fixing: Fix boards with decorative side out to receive joint treatment or a skim plaster finish.

Wall Board weights: All weights mentioned on Gypsemna Wall Board product systems are approximate.

Mechanical handling: The dimensions of the stack vary depending on the product size. To avoid potentially overloading a lift truck, it is important that any effect on load centers is considered.

Installation

Acoustic Performance: EN ISO140-3 and EN ISO-717-1Building Acoustics is a science of controlling noise in buildings and also deals in minimizing the sound transmission from one space to another. Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board system provides good sound attenuation property. This can be used as sound insulation system in cinemas, theatres, hotels, factories, etc. optimum sound insulation can be achieved by carefully selecting Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board systems.

Advantages:Gypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board provides following advantages over traditional block masonry systems.

Gypsemna - Regular Gypsum Plaster BoardsGypsemna Regular Gypsum Plaster Board consists of non combustible core of Gypsum encased in heavy duty Kraft paper liner on either side of the Gypsum core. Provides a better Sound Insulation, Thermal Insulation & due to its unique behaviour it provides a good fire protection when

exposed to fire. Gypsemna Regular Gypsum Plaster Board can be fixed to timber, metal framing and masonry works for ceilings partitions and Wall linings, providing a high quality and economical finish to any Interior projects.

Features & Benefits:• Gypsemna Regular Gypsum Plaster Boards are suitable

for wide range of decorative finishes.

• Gypsemna Regular Wall Boards are light in weight and easy to install.

• The Gypsum core will not support combustion or transmit temperatures greatly in excess of 1000oC until completely calcined.

• Suitable for internal constructions of partitions and ceilings application to give better fire protection, sound insulation and thermal insulation

• Expansions and contractions under normal atmospheric conditions are negligible.

Product Standards:ASTM C 1396EN 520 (DIN 18 180/BS 1230 Part I)

Gypsemna - Moisture Resistant Gypsum Plaster BoardsGypsemna Moisture Resistant Gypsum Plaster Board consists of Gypsum core mixed with water resistant additives and special paper, to enhance moisture protection

in the interiors walls and ceilings which are exposed to high degree of moisture.

Features & Benefits:• Gypsemna Moisture Resistant Gypsum Plaster Boards

are developed for wet area application such as Bathrooms, washrooms, kitchens etc.

• Gypsemna Moisture Resistant Boards are light in weight and easy to install.

• Gypsemna Moisture Resistant Boards will not absorb more than 5% of water.

• Suitable for internal constructions of partitions and ceilings application to give better fire protection, sound insulation and thermal insulation

• Gypsemna Moisture Resistant Board will give the similar performance to a standard board for fire rating or sound insulation.

Product Standards:ASTM C 630/1396MEN 520 – Type A and H1 (BS 1230 part I)

Gypsemna - Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster BoardsGypsemna Fire Wall Gypsum Plaster Board consists of gypsum core mixed with fire resistance additives, and firmly bonded to paper, increasing its strength and providing fire resistance property. During fire unless the water of crystallization has been liberated the temperature of the material adjacent to or in contact with unexposed side

cannot exceed 100oC. Once the Gypsum layer is completely calcined the residue continues to act as an insulating layer for as long as it remains intact. The addition of glass fiber in the Gypsum core improves the cohesive properties and fire integrity performance.

Features & Benefits:• Expansion and contraction under normal atmospheric

conditions is negligible.

• Provide greater fire resistance compared that of a regular wallboard.

• Light weight easy to install and cost effective material.

• The addition of glass fibers in the Gypsum core improve the cohesive properties and fire integrity performance.

• It can be used as a lining to contribute to fire resistance and sound insulation of various building elements, including partitions, ceiling and Columns encasement. etc.
