Our Multidisciplinary Approach to CareWith a multidisciplinary approach and open lines of communication among specialties, we are making strides in cancer treatment ranging from diagnosis to survivorship. A multidisciplinary team may include thereferring physician, medical and radiation oncologists,surgeons, radiologists, nurse navigators and other related specialists. Together, as a team, we take aprospective view of each case prior to recommendingtreatment options. We will work closely with you so you are well informed about your patients’ course oftreatment and any future interventions that may be needed, such as chemotherapy. Other members of theteam can include research nurses to help determine eligibility for a clinical trial, a social worker and/or palliative care nurse to assess family and personal needs or concerns.

In order to optimize treatment plans and schedulingneeds, patients will have the opportunity to see their cancer specialists during the same visit. A nurse navigator will also be by their side every step of the way to provide support and guidance. Office consultations are by appointment only. Most major insurance plans
