The beginning of an adventureJean Guernet created Guernet Compresseurs In Paris in 1911. The company specialized in the construction of electric motors for the industry. Then Guernet Compresseurs settled in Nanterre and invented the rotary battery charger. The company then turned to the booming world of cars. In 1928, it developed the first range of compressors designed for garages.

1911

New horizonsHervé Guernet, 3rd generation, directed the development of the company on the manufacture of moto-compressors for various trades. Guernet Compresseurs moved to larger premises in the town of Joigny. In 2008, Guernet Compresseurs expanded its range and opened to the manufacture of garage equipment, which gave it a place among the leaders of the business sector.

1991

DevelopmentMichel Guernet, 2nd generation, expanded the range by developing the V-belt drive compressor. The company experienced a boom. Guernet compresseurs therefore moved to larger premises in Villeneuve-Sur-Yonne in order to develop around the field of compressed air.

1954

Sustainable innovationsGuernet Compresseurs committed to the service of the environment and developped greener solutions. The Power Drive System, the Power Motor System and the Power Charge System allowed a change in working conditions. The Power Motor System won the Silver Trophy at the International innovation Grand Prix at the Equip’auto Fair in 2015 in the category of Services / Services Bays / Service networks.
