Unfortunately, we were unable to do as much riding as we would have like to due to the weather, however, we were able to enjoy some great times together. The Men’s Ride, Dinner Show ride and more were some of the great rides that were ar- ranged by our Ride Coordinator and other members. A lot of fun was had at our Annual BBQ and Christmas Party. Thanks to Ronnie and Lisa for letting us use their club house for the BBQ and Jerry and Brenda for the Christmas Party. As you know we were supposed to step down as CD’s at the end of the year but it will now be the end of Feb- ruary as we will not have a meeting in January. Just trying to figure out what hap- pened to 2018, as it has gone by so quickly. We wish all of you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year. Thoughts On The Past Year
I am writing this article 4 days be-fore Christmas and am thinking of
the past year. Unfortunately, we were unable to do as much riding as we would have like to due to the weather, however, we were able to enjoy some great times together. The Men’s Ride, Dinner Show ride and more were some of the great rides that were ar-ranged by our Ride Coordinator and other members. A lot of fun was had at our Annual BBQ and Christmas Party. by the way brought a lot of happy smiles on the kids in Anchorage. He called Rescue Plus and they had to come out and righted the sleigh and put new runners on it. So if Santa was a little late getting to your house, that’s why he was behind schedule. Traction still applies.
Gold Wings are not really designed to drag our knees on the ground like say a CBR600 but they will lean over pretty far. The thing of it is, when you are out there hanging ten, those two little spots touching
the pavement can still be pretty tricky. Always keep in mind that a little slick spot, a rock, a pothole or some form of debris is all it takes to spill all your toys all over the place. Like Santa you may end up needing Rescue Plus to get your junk home.
Bottom line this coming year is keep the shiny side up and the rub-ber side down.
