A few words from our Principal…

Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 6 Farewell

Last night our Year 6, for 2016 enjoyed a lovely evening to celebrate the successful completion of their Primary

schooling. The evening saw our students arrive, impeccably dressed, showing what mature young ladies and

gentleman they have become. The celebration of events, saw our Year 5 helpers serve a scrumptious meal, a slide

show of Year 6 showcasing events over their school life, a fun disco and finally the presentation of Year 6

graduation certificates. One of the highlights was each Year 6 class had prepared a little item ~ poetry and dance.

This was amazing to watch and they had included good humour which kept the audience laughing.

A very big thank you to the staff team who coordinated this event. Mr Thurbon and Miss Martin have spent lots of

time preparing and supporting our year 5 students, setting up the hall, Mrs Sams and Mrs Stanger for the lovely

SAKG meal, Mrs Piggott for the Year 6 DVD.

Principals surprise!

I was surprised while working in my office on Tuesday when suddenly I could hear the sound of music!! I turned

around to see the sight of 2W, outside my office window, playing their recorders with the ever enthusiastic Mrs

Walsh. It’s a shame my photo below doesn’t allow you to hear the lovely sound of recorder playing by 24 little

musicians.
