So check your gun cabinets, closets, basements and garages for choice items, preferably in new or near new condition to donate for this worthy cause. As far as acceptable donations go, almost anything of value will do, no junk. Bring something that you would bid on. All items will be sold as "Absolute" which means that none of the items will carry a reserve price. Jake runs a fast, snappy auction and hopes to be finished around 9:00 to 9:30 PM depending upon how quickly we start. If you have any items to be auctioned please arrive by 6:30 PM so we can tag and set the items out for display. All auction materials, including pre- numbered bid cards, item tags, cashiering equipment, settlement forms and talent are gladly furnished and donated to the CGCA by the auctioneer, so please be nice to the action team Volunteers are needed for the auction, they should plan to be on hand by 6:00 PM. Four people are needed to accept and tag incoming items. Each item will be tagged with a pre-numbered sticker tag, and the item will then be placed on a display table. One person will be needed to pass out the pre-numbered bidder cards as people come in the door. That person will control the bid cards and have each person sign the bidder registration form. We will need 3 or 4 people to hold up auction items as they come up for sale. Items will be sold on a random basis, not in numerical order. Terms of Sale Sale price will be rounded up to the next dollar. Checks are preferred, but cash is certainly acceptable. If you plan on paying cash please have exact change to make the job easier for Carol and June . Come on down and have a good time Pictures of some of items donated by Mel Flanagan are shown on pages 2 and 3 this newsletter in order to give you an idea of what may be available. The lathe is to heavy to bring to the auction as is the workbench, They are stored at Jarvis Hurds home. The winning bidder will have to make arrangements to pick them up. Jarvis has to test the lathe it may have a problem. By the time of the auction we will know the status of the lathe. I should note it is a wood/metal lathe. There will be no Show & Tell this month!

Work Bench Top is 72 inches by 30 inch 2inches

thick laminated maple. I set on two 3

drawers pedestals. They are 30 inches

high , i5 inches wide and 24 inches

deep. There is a full length 15 inch

metal shelf that sits on the back of the

top and bolts to it. Also has a wood

add on 3 side shelf for holding tools

that set on top of the medal shelf. It

weights about 225 Pounds assemble.

It is was dis-assembled to ge it out of

the house.

Easels Four brass plated easels.

Display Board Display board that is made of 6 2 ftx4ft interlocking panels. It comes I n a case with wheels for easy transport. It also has lights and made to set up on a table and is ten feet long. The two end panels use Velcro to hold items with the rest of the panes having groves to use peg board hanger to attach items.

Lathe combo milling machine. Emco Compact 8. 36 inched long, 29 inched high and about 21 inches wide. Weights about 180 pounds. It has a broken secondary drive belt that is used to set the different speeds. Per Mel it does not work right.
