Linguistics Menu Project Restaurant Skit Now that your menus are complete we will put them to the test. Your classmates will play time travelers from ancient Rome, who only know Latin (not English!). Luckily you are prepared to provide them with a bilingual menu and to take their order. Restaurant owners (waiters) Restaurant patrons (diners) Checklist: Greet everyone! Give them a menu! Take their order! Ask how the food is! Checklist: Greet your waiter! Order 1-2 items from the menu! Compliment the restaurant! Everyone must speak! Useful phrases: Salvēte!
