i\ creating a new account

1) Go to http://www.coursemology.orgcreating a new account

2) Enter your details on the main page creating a new account

Ensure a part of your real name is in your account name

so that I know who it is

Ensure that you are able to access the email account

that you will be using to create your coursemology

account.

Else, create a new email account.

3) Click on the blue button “Sign Up”creating a new account

3) You should see this message. Proceed to check your email for the link.

4) Check your email account for an email from coursemology. Open the email.

If you didn’t receive the email, do check your junk / spam folder. sometimes, it

might end up there.

5) Your email should look something like this. Click on the link “Confirm my account”

6) You will be brought back to coursemology.creating a new account

Your name will appear here. This means that you’ve

logged in.

ii\ requesting to be a lecturer

1) Click on “Request to be a lecturer”creating a new account

8) You’ll be brought to this page. creating a new account

Key in your details. For reasons, do include the

following phrase so that we will know that this is

partly for the workshop:

“eduLab@AST Gamification Course”

8) You’ll be brought to this page. creating a new account

Once done, click on “Submit”

9) And you’re done!creating a new account

ii\ requesting to be a lecturer

what if the button is missing?

The “Request to be a lecturer” button only appears if you don’t have a course. This is what you can do to request to be a lecturer if the button doesn’t appear.

2) From the drop-down menu, click on “My Courses”

3) You’ll be transported to this page. creating a new account

4) Click on the button “Request to be a lecturer”creating a new account

8) You’ll be brought to this page. creating a new account

1) At wherever page you are at, click on the button “Courses” on the top navigation bar.

3) Scroll all the way to the bottom.creating a new account

4) Click on this course in green“eduLab@AST Gamification Workshop”

5) You’ll be brought to this page. creating a new account

6) Click on “Request to Enroll”creating a new account

6) And your enrollment is acknowledged! I’ll need to approve your enrollment for you to access the course on the day of the workshop!
