for your video. It is not mandatory to follow this structure or

have the same contents but uniformity helps viewers compare and contrast different careers.

Things to Consider Please take some time to read the slides following this for the

points to cover and the structure & sequence of your video. Edit or print the slides to add the points you want to highlight

wrt your role. Give a realistic but vivid picture of what it means to be in your role

Shoot the video as a conversation not presentation and ask someone to ask you questions provided in the structure below – sort of Q&A video

Talk informally and use simple language as this will be viewed by people across the world who may not have English as a first language

Practice at least once before recording to ensure your points are covered and there is good flow.

Describe the growth path within the industry You start out as a non officer or junior member of one of the many teams in development, support, QA, business analysis or in the project management office You will need to build expertise and demonstrate definite results within your area and try to move into different parts of the tech division to get an understanding of how the various parts fit Then you can move down the technical line by becoming a Senior developer, Design Specialist, Architect or expert in a particular financial platform. Or move into the management line to become a module leader, team leader, project manager, program manager and so on
