1. WELCOME

We are looking forward to have you with us on July 7-8th 2018 for the third edition of the Spartan Race Morzine.

This year Morzine is hosting the Spartan European Championships, all the best athletes from all over Europe will be there!

Get yourself ready for the D-day, read carefully this really important document. You will find all the info you need to be ready for everything we have planned for you.

If you are Elite or AG you must get your racer packet on FridayIf you run in open make sure to come early enough to get your racer packet (min. 1h30 before your start time)

You must bring with you:

Ø ID

Ø Printed bar code (from your chronotrack registration email) or via your phone

Ø A medical certificate less than a year old. Must state “Fit to participate to a competitive sport” A valid sport license can be accepted too (football, volleyball, Basketball ect…)

5. WHAT SHOULD I NEED TO BRING ?

ü You will receive a headband with your bib number. You must wear it at all time, otherwise you will be disqualified. Do not hesitate to write down your bib number on your body to help with photo recognition. You can’t give your bib number to another participant. You can only take part in the race if you have presented at registration your bar code, your ID and your medical certificate.

ü At registration you will receive a timing chip. It is mandatory to attach it on yourwrist with the yellow wristband given to you, otherwise you will not be timed.

ü If you can't complete an obstacle you will have to suffer 30 BURPEES. Howeverthere is obstacles that are "no fail" obstacles- you will have to overcome theobstacle otherwise your are disqualified. Passing an obstacle withoutovercoming it or doing the burpees will lead to disqualification. At each obstacleand along the course we have marshals checking that every athlete is followingthe course and obstacles. You are not allowed to cut the course. You canovertake others anywhere unless otherwise announced on the course. Also atobstacles, however we expect that you respect the other athletes.

After the race: Finisher T-shirts can be picked up at the finish area after After finishing line. Wear it withpride, you've earned it! Be sure to wear your medal to prove you're a Spartan RaceFinisher!Once you will cross the finish line, you will receive your medal Spartan well deserved! Ifyou also come home in the tribe Trifecta, you also receive the arrival. Then you can dowith your race time timekeeper.Pick up your bag with instructions and come back to the festival area to have fun withothers finishers!

Medal Engraving : If you agree with the medal engraving, you’ll be able to achieve just after crossed thefinish line. The stand is located just outside the finish area.

Awards Ceremony: The prize-giving ceremony will take place at 3.30pm for Elites and Age Group Heat onthe Saturday 5th May. The Top 3 men and women and of the Elite and Age Group racewill receive their awards. Remember to check the results, they can very quickly evolveaccording to the penalties and / or disqualification.

Festival Challenge:During your downtime, visit the Festival Challenge area to try you on one of ourchallenges of the Festival. Test your skills on the various modules and try to win prizeson our partners.Together we are stronger! Aroo!!

CAR PARK There is no specific parking lot dedicated to the Spartan Race, the car parks are those of the Moto Club d’Ernée. Parking will cost 5€ per cars, make sure

to park on locations reserved for cars to avoid any problems.

SPECTATORS: Spectators are welcome at the event (free entry), the car parks are the same

as those of the participants. NOTE: coolers and barbecues are not allowed inside the main area. Spectators are welcome. No liquor, glass bottles or camping on site.
