Offered courses
• More than 50 courses lead to different Diploma or Masters degrees
• Within those courses more than 100 specializations are possible
• Courses comprise all fields of Engineering, Natural Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities
• Diploma courses are divided into two parts
– 2 years of basic studies (Grundstudium)
– 2 - 3 years of advanced studies (Hauptstudium)
• Grundstudium: Scientific foundations (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, ...)
• Only after completion of all examinations it is possible to start with the second part
• Hauptstudium: Research oriented specialization, completed by final examinations (Diploma, Masters, ...) and a thesis
• Currently additionally introduction of Bachelor and Master courses

• Strong focus on partners from technologically advanced countries
• In recent years more and more scientific exchange programs with universities in Eastern Europe

– joint research projects
– exchange of scientists and students
– sponsorships for young scientists
