destined to become timeless pieces. The Interlocking timepiece is the newest addition to the gucci
Timepieces range. featured in stainless steel and in the large 37 mm size, the watch display includes
the initials of guccio gucci, the house’s founder, in a striking design around the bezel.
drawing on its equestrian heritage, the horsebit cocktail ring is worked in 18kt yellow gold, with the
dazzling cognac quartz held in place with four clasps shaped in the iconic horsebit motif. The softly
rounded sunglasses feature guccissima leather covered temples and bear the “gucci” metal signature
logo. In addition, the special edition bamboo watch and jewellery collection is featured in the campaign.
The campaign will also feature three handbags: the Jackie, the style that was carried by America’s
former first lady Jacqueline kennedy; the soho chain style, characterized by the embossed interlocking
gg; the gucci Nice handbag, inspired by the relaxed attitude of france’s southern coast, which sees
the use of both micro guccissima leather as well as the introduction of an eco-conscious textile.
The featured collections highlight the use of sustainable, renewable materials such as bamboo, the
tagua nut and vegetable ivory. The bamboo special edition has been officially launched in china, where
gucci Timepieces & Jewellery is supporting a local reforestation project. These initiatives form part of
the house’s on-going commitment to sustainability and responsibility.
