Gubkin Russian State University of

Oil and Gas (Gubkin University) is

located in the centre of Moscow.

It has 10 faculties, 1 international

branch in Tashkent, 9 000

students, including 1 500 foreign

students from 60 countries.

About 8000 students are enrolled

at Stavanger University,

international students are coming

from 40 countries of the world.

supervisors and

managers not only within

their specialty but also in

adjacent areas.

Complementing the academic staff, visiting academics and industry

managers provide added depth, experience and global diversity to the

program. This program can attract professionals interested in theory and

systemized practical experience.

Duration of the program is 2 years (4 semesters and

summer internship).

Semester #1 (Gubkin Russian

1. Probability, statistics and stochastic modeling of

uncertainty (5 ECTS)

2. Offshore field development and value engineering

of the development projects (5 ECTS)

3. Decision making and risk analysis (5 ECTS)

4. Natural gas industry: economics and

Internship in the oil and gas industry during the summer period is held

in international oil and gas companies
