 Navigating  the  Sidebar

The  date  range  on  the  top  left  hand  side  allows  you  to  select  the  beginning  and  end  tracking  dates  for  the  mobile  device  To  change  the  beginning  date,  select  the  starting  month  followed  by  the  day  in  the  ‘From’  calendar.  Follow  the  same  steps  to  change  the  end  date  in  the  ‘To’  calendar.    Press  ‘Update’  to  refresh  the  page.  

 

 

Managing  Geozones  

The  Geozone  allows  you  to  set  multiple  virtual  perimeters,  or  safety  fences  (zones),  for  the  individual  carrying  the  mobile  device  If  the  individual  enters  or  leaves  a  Geozone,  the  system  will  send  a  notification  via  email  and/or  SMS  to  the  pre-­‐designated  phone  numbers  and/or  email  addresses.

Edit  Geozones    

Click  the  ‘Edit  Geozone’  button  on  the  sidebar.    

Adding  a  Geozone  

Your  first  Geozone  can  be  managed  right  away.  To  add  more  Geozones,  select  ‘New’  on  the  Geozone  sidebar.  

Selecting  a  Geozone  

To  edit  a  Geozone,  you  must  first  select  it  from  the  dropdown  menu  on  the  sidebar.  Selecting  a  Geozone  updates  the  map  with  the  Geozone’s  virtual  perimeter.  

Removing  a  Geozone  

To  remove  a  Geozone,  select  it  from  the  dropdown  menu,  and  select  ‘Delete’.  

Renaming  a  Geozone  

To  rename  a  Geozone,  select  it  from  the  dropdown  menu,  and  enter  a  new  name  in  the  ‘Zone  Description’  box.  

Centering  a  Geozone  Around  an  Address  

In  the  ‘Find  Address’  box  above  the  map,  type  in  the  address,  and  select  ‘Go’.  Do  NOT  press  the  [Enter]  key  on  your  keyboard.

Resizing  a  Geozone  

In  the  ‘Radius  (meters)’  box,  type  in  the  size  (radius)  of  your  Geozone  in  meters.  (100  feet  is  around  30  meters.)  Preview  your  changes  by  selecting  ‘Preview’.    If  your  Geozone  is  set  around  an  indoor  location  (e.g.  a  house  or  nursing  home),  it  is  recommended  that  the  radius  be  set  to  at  least  200  meters.  

Previewing  Your  Changes  

Preview  your  changes  before  saving  by  selecting  ‘Preview’.  

Saving  Geozone  Settings  

Once  you  are  finished  managing  the  Geozones,  remember  to  apply  your  settings  by  selecting  ‘Save’.  

Managing  Notification  Recipients  

Geozone  and  low-­‐battery  notifications  are  sent  via  email  and/or  SMS  to  your  recipients.  In  the  ‘E-­‐Mail  or  Mobile  Phone’  box  of  the  Geozone  page,  you  may  enter  as  many  email  addresses  and  phone  numbers  as  you  like.  Separate  each  entry  with  a  single  comma.  Do  NOT  use  any  spaces.  For  phone  numbers,  enter  the  numbers  only,  without  any  dashes  or  periods.

OTHER  PORTAL  FUNCTIONS  Reports  

The  GTX  Corp  Monitoring  Portal  gives  you  the  choice  of  generating  different  reports  to  fit  your  needs.  Reports  fall  in  three  general  sections:  Detail  Reports,  Summary  Reports,  and  Performance  Reports.       Figure  5.  Navigating  the  Reports  Menu  

Navigating  to  the  Reports  Menu  

At  the  top  of  the  screen,  select  the  “Reports”  tab  and  choose  one  of  the  three  report  types.  

Detail  Reports  

Detail  Reports  lets  you  know  every  location  and  alert  for  in  a  date  and  time  period.  To  generate  a  Detail  Report,  choose  select  a  date  range  from  the  calendar  on  the  left  panel,  pick  a  report  format  (HTML  to  view  in  the  website,  CSV  to  download),  and  click  “Get  Report”.

Summary  Reports  

Summary  Reports  generate  information  for  all  the  devices  in  your  group/family.  

All  Received  Event  Counts  

The  number  of  reports  in  a  selected  date  range  from  each  of  your  devices.  

Last  Known  Device  Location  Summary  

The  most  recent  check-­‐in  date  and  location  each  of  your  devices.    

To  generate  a  Summary  Report,  select  a  date  range  from  the  calendar,  choose  either  the  “Last  Known  Device  Location  Summary”  or  “All  Received  Event  Counts”,  and  pick  a  report  format  (HTML  to  view  in  the  website,  CSV  to  export).  Click  “Get  Report”  to  generate  your  Summary  Report.

Performance  Reports                              Figure  11.  Performance  Reports  

Performance  Reports  generate  relevant  driving  information  for  your  devices.  There  are  five  Performance  Reports  you  can  choose  from:  

1.      Speeds  over  10mph  (16kph):  Shows  when  speeds  go  over  10  mph  

2.      Speeds  over  45mph  (72kph):  Shows  when  speeds  go  over  45  mph  

3.      Speeds  over  70mph  (112.65kph):  Shows  when  speeds  go  over  70  mph  

4.      Driving  Distance  Summary:    Shows  a  mileage  estimation  

5.      Driving/Stopped  Time  Summary:  Shows  a  summary  of  start  /  stop  times  

To  generate  a  Performance  Report,  select  a  date  range  from  the  calendar,  choose  one  of  the  five  reports,  and  pick  a  report  format  (HTML  to  view  in  the  website,  CSV  to  export).    Click  “Get  Report”  to  generate  your  Performance  Report.
