Each measurement unit contains a laser, a 0.8” detector, a rechargeable battery and communicates wirelessly. It is compact, sealed and with a size that allows for use on small machines and where space is limited.
The universal shaft fixture is compact and have a thickness of only 0.6”. Supplied with a chain as well as magnets for radial and axial mounting on shafts and couplings.
Using GTI ShaftLaser
Rotate the machine on the screen to view your measurement from the desired position. The software guides you through the most effective way to perform the alignment. You can either perform a standard 9-12-3 measurement or if there is limited room for shaft rotation the system permits rotation down to 20°+20°.
The alignment values for offset and angle in both vertical and horizontal direction is shown in a combined view. Red and green signs clearly shows if the alignment is within or outside the selected tolerances.

The software shows if shims should be added or removed to correct the vertical misalignment using an animation. !
Adjust according to the yellow arrows, or simply use the figure that is updated in real time. The misalignment values are also updated continuously and you instantly see if the alignment is within tolerance.
VibePro Integration
Reports created in the Shaft Alignment app can be quickly sent over to VibePro’s Machine Maintenance Event Records. !VibePro is the hub for all alignment, balancing and other corrective tools through the machine maintenance event record. !Every asset can be tracked in this way to view its history. Future vibration issues can benefit from knowing this history and seeing what has worked in the past. !VibePro is a part of GTI’s iPad Predictive Maintenance Platform. It is our vibration analysis, route collection and data trending application. It is available stand alone or part of an alignment/vibration package.
