year if student not already on final year– Change their status to ER in the next academic year if not

already on final year– Updates their programme year, e.g. from Year 1 to Year 2– Allows them to re-register online

modules Does not move the student into the next academic year Does not update their programme year Does not change their student status Does not allow them to register online Releases their marks so they are viewable on the my.bham portal Does not ‘lock’ the Assessment Period in BIRMS so a subsequent

ART can be entered once an Exam Board recommendation has been approved
