I would like to thanks again to all the members of Gujarati Samaj for putting the trust and selecting me unanimously in the yearly General body meeting to serve second term as Samaj President for the year 2014. I will again try my best with the help of Executive and BOG team as well as with the participation of the volunteers of various ages to do my best to achieve our goal to make this year remarkable and successful with various social and cultural activities. I personally believe that one of the aim since the inception of the Gujarati Samaj was to promote and encourage the Gujarati heritage, its rich culture, language and literature through our activities especially for the young and next generation. We have one in common goal: “Creating a positive and enjoyable experi- ence of Friendship, Happiness and Harmony”. To promote these goals we have hold many successful events including Republic Day celebration, Run for Unity Walk, Valentine Day for Seniors, spring festival Holi and we have also plan out our popular events like Picnic, Youth Camp, Religious event, Talent shows, Computer literacy for adults, Navratri, Diwali celebrations and many more other events. I request and urge with open heart and mind to all the experienced past presi- dents, past executive, BOG members as well as all volunteers to keep continue their helping hands support in all the activities for this year, as they have given in past. Making a strong community is in every ones interest. This will start with involvement from the younger generation as they are the future of our SAMAJ. Sincerely yours, Vasudev Patel President May 2014

At Wages & Sons, we genuinely understand all the

intricacies of your historic religion—one that believes

the individual soul has no beginning and no end and

may pass into another incarnation after death.

A traditional Hindu funeral consists of a cremation

followed by the ashes being returned to a sacred

river or another holy place. The cremation process

releases the soul from the body, allowing it to move

on to another incarnation. White is the preferred color

for family and guests at a Hindu funeral.

Furthermore, we understand and respect the need for

Hindu families to gather as soon as possible after a

death to begin the rituals that are your custom.

Providing superior care and unparalleled attention to

detail, Wages & Sons will help you arrange a beautiful,

natural and pure service—all while treating your loved

one with dignity and honor every step of the way.
