– “Setpoint actual” = the pressure the BoosterpaQ is supposed to achieve.

– “Actual value” = the actual pressure in the discharge manifold.

– “Prepress.” = the pressure in the suction manifold. This menu does not appearwhen a liquid level switch is used in the suction manifold.

– “Speed” = indicates how many pumps are running and at what speeds.

A BoosterpaQ with 3 full size pumps is a 300% system. Each pump is 100%(100%+100%+100%=300%). Half size pumps are 50% for each half pump.

A pump running a variable speed drive will fluctuate from 25% to 100%.A pump running direct-on-line (DOL) will run at 100%.

If the PMU displays SPEED 180% , 1 pump is DOL(100%) and the other isrunning at 80% on the VFD.

– Pushing the ENTENTENTENTENTER ER ER ER ER key also “resets” the controller and attempts restart the BoosterpaQ

• Each switch directly energizes the corresponding DOL contactor/MLE “MAX” input.
