Hey Growtopians. The moment you’ve all been waiting for is here. The new EXTENDED Growtopia Gazette is finally here! Since the devs can only fit so much in such a small amount of space in game, we’ve decided to actually create an entire newspaper with all of the latest news! Forget about knowing one or two sentences about a new event in Growtopia, now you can know EVERYTHING (well, almost everything). We’re here to help you have the best Growtopia experience possible! We’ll try to go intro as much detail as possible to understand things, but if you still don’t understand, feel free to /msg the writer! We have gotten approval from Growtopia Support to work on this project, so we will make it the best we can. Anyways, enough about this new newspaper, we know you want INFO! That’s right, Growtopians; villains have finally

managed to stumble into Growtopia. I think

some of you were expecting it, though, because

we did have the Superhero Pack released a few

months ago. What good are superheroes with

no one to fight…except @Dr. Destructo, of

course. Anyways, the new Crime Wave pack

was released on Thursday, February 19th. The

pack grants a total of 25 cards (5 different cards

that include 5 each) and a Criminal Wave,

which summons four criminals to the world you

use it in. You can use the cards to battle each

villain. You’ll need 5 different cards to start

fighting, and you can use them unlimited times

during the fight. Each card has its own effect,

and it works similar to rock paper scissors; fire

beats strength, strength beats lightning,

lightning beats water, and water beats fire.

You can win numerous prizes from defeating a

villain, including portraits of them! For more

Story of the Month

About Story of the Month

Story of the Month is a writing contest for all Growtopians. It

must be fictional! You’ll have up until the 25th of each month

to submit your thread at growgazette.weebly.com or on the

RT Soft Growtopia Forums. The judges will pick the best

story to publish in each month’s issue. Winner gets 3 WLs. By Packs

Once there was one world which was an

empty world. One day Seth and Hamumu

used the power of Scripting to make 2

Growtopians. The first Growtopians ever

made! He made them everything you could

imagine and couldn't imagine. Huge

towers, packs, shoes, pants, and more! The

only thing that they didn't have was a door.

They could do anything BUT break the only

tree there. The first Dirt Tree. One of the

Growtopians name was Gren. He was a

nice and kind Growtopian. He wore brown

shoes, blue pants, a green shirt, and had

red hair (The Growtopia logo). The other

Growtopian, Drow, was a selfish

Growtopian who had evil plans for the

future. He only wore Devil wings and he

mostly put devil horns on himself. One day,

Drow was thinking that if he broke the dirt

tree then he would have as much power or

possibly more than Seth and Hamumu.

Gren heard of Drow's plans and tried to

stop him. Then, a not-so-epic battle of

Drow vs Gren Started. In the end, Gren got

knocked out. As soon as Drow broke the

dirt seed he got 4 dirt blocks. Just then, he

found that a door was right on top of him.

He was curious what was in the door. So he

used the dirt blocks to get the door. When

Gren woke up, he saw that Drow was 2 dirt

places away from the door. He was

thinking that he will never get up there in

time to stop Drow. Suddenly, Gren grew

Angel wings on his back. He now had the

ability to double jump. He then took 2 big

leaps. When he got to the door, it was too

late. Drow had already gone into the door.

When Gren went into the door, he was

warped into a different world as Drow. The

world name was called "Heaven". As for

Drow, he got warped to Hell. When Drow

broke the dirt seed, he unleashed all the

bad things about growtopia (Drop Games

griefing, Etc). The Sacred land that they

were in could only be reached My

warped into a different world as Drow. The

world name was called “Heaven”. As for

Drow, he got warped to “Hell”. When Drow

broke the dirt seed, he unleashed all the bad

things about Growtopia (Drop Games

griefing, Etc). The Sacred land that they

were in could only be reached by Moderators

and Developers.

If You took the Gr from Gren and Ow from

Drow, It makes the word Grow.

1000 Gems Debate

Remember those first moments of you

playing Growtopia? When you took weeks

just to get enough gems to buy your first

World Lock? I want to change that. I think

new players should start off with 1,000

gems when they join the game. This way,

they could get richer not only quicker, but

also easier. I think they would appreciate it

a lot! They can buy rare items (such as the

rare seed pack) to buy World Locks with and

become as rich as Rubie! (Maybe if they’re a

lucky winner, they could even get a chance

of 2,000 gems, instead of 1,000!) Now,

everyone who joins the game will get 1,000

free gems, and their dreams will come true!

Also, don’t make noob accounts just to get

free gems, it’s not fair.

Hey forumers and Growtopians.

Today I would like to talk to you

about my new hang-out world,

FORUMERCRAFT. Basically, it’s just a

world for all of the awesome

forumers to hang out in and build

in! You can build anything you want,

as long as you don’t grief other

players. We already have some pixel

arts and TWO parkours!

@mrthadawee came to the world

on February 21st! This is not a token

world for me, it is a non-profit. My

goal for this world is to bring

forumers closer together, and so

they can meet and become friends

in-game. If you are a forumer and

tell us the password, then you get

access to the world (password can

be retrieved on the RT Soft forums)!

I hope that all forumers will come to

this world and socialize. It would be

great if we had 50 residents there,

because that is my goal; to have 50

admins there each with their own

Life in the Fast Lane: Growtopia Style

Being a “pro” in Growtopia takes work.

Or money. But mostly work. As you get

richer, your reputation grows. It’s tempting

to turn on friends. I was at a point in my

Growtopia life where I wanted to throw it all

away. All of my success wasn’t worth a penny

compared to my friends, though; I knew it. If

any of you are ever at that point, all you have

to do is think. I know the success and

admiration feels good, but sometimes

feelings deceive you.

There’s another side to the story.

Growtopia players, like yourself, are being

judged for how they look in the game.

Because I’ve recently sold my Autumn Wings

and Chick Leash, I’ve been called hurtful

names. Trust me, it gets to you. Players like

these make me want to quit. Guys, be nice.

Don’t trash the game most of you play every

day! Let’s build the Growtopia economy

instead of destroying it!

February Carnival

Please keep in mind, this article was

written on February 22nd, before the

carnival came. Ok guys, so on the

forums I’ve seen so many threads

saying “When is the carnival

coming?” It’s all so stupid. I’m not

exaggerating when I say I’ve seen 100

of those threads. If you truly don’t

know, look at one of the other

threads, not create more spam!

Anyways, I’ve come to tell you all

about when the carnival is coming.

The carnival WILL come, but it is

generated on a random date by the

SERVERS. Not even the almighty Seth

and Hamumu know when it’s coming.

So STOP ASKING. All I want to say is

that it’s coming on the 23rd, 24th, 25th,

or 26th of February. I don’t think it will

come on the 27th or 28th because

there are only 28 days in February,

and the carnival lasts for three days.

Anyways, on a happier note, I’m

halfway through doing 24 surgeries

for the Ring Master! What quest are
