•Everyone needs physical activity to be healthy and strong.

•Physical activity helps you have more energy, be more alert, and learn better.

Try This!!! Place you hand over your heart. Can

you feel it beating? It should be beating pretty normal.

Now I want everyone to do 10 jumping jacks.

Now feel your heart again. Is it beating faster now?

Your heart is helping to pump blood and oxygen throughout your body.

Stretching

This activity involves bending, stretching, and reaching.

These activities do not make our hearts beat faster, but they help us to stretch our bodies and become more flexible.

Strength Activity

These activities help build strong bones and muscles.

They also help you maintain your posture.

Some of these activities involve pushing, pulling, push-ups, and climbing.
