Readings: 2 Kings 4:8-11, 14-16a, Romans 6:3-4, 8-11 Gospel: Matthew 10:37-42 Message: Putting Jesus first is our challenge. Once again Jesus discusses the challenge of living the Gospel. Faithful discipleship comes with demands. But we are not to keep the Gospel message to ourselves – it must be proclaimed and lived no matter what the cost. For those who are faithful, the reward will be newness of life.

“We believe Catholic education teaches students core values, which helps them to mature into Christ-like
people. They learn self-discipline, how to accept responsibility for their
actions, and how to make good decisions based on the tenets of their faith. They also learn about
commitment, respect of others, and service. We feel our children will
have the necessary guidance from the ASCS staff to be productive
citizens who are committed to the greater good in life.”

Proud to be Catholic
In this uncertain time there is a lot we can’t control but there are some things we can, like helping our neighbors. As a tri-parish community of believers let us
follow the Corporal Works of Mercy. The month of July we are going to be
helping the Antigo Food Pantry. Let us listen to Jesus and feed the
hungry.

Tri-Parish & Community Events
GOD IS ON THE MOVE
With everything going on in our world today, what do you say that we do something to make a positive impact on our community?
In 1 John 4:11 we are given this instruction, “If God so loved us, we must also love one another”. Let us take a stand for the love of God in showing peace, understanding and assistance to our neighbors.
The month of July all three of our parishes are going to have a friendly competition to see which parish can collect the most food and money for the Antigo Area Food Pantry. We will have the food weighed and the money counted. Weekly totals will be posted in the bulletin and on our
Facebook page.
Contest runs July 1st -31st. Boxes with your parish name will be located at your parish and at St. John during Mass times. Cash donations can be dropped at any parish office.
Bring your non-perishable, low-sodium (if possible) items to Mass (Daily and Weekend) and place in the marked boxes.
Let us stand up to hunger, stand up for our community and stand up for what our faith calls us to do, be the hands and feet of Christ.
SAVE THE DATE SS. Mary & Hyacinth Parish
We offer out Thanks, our Prayers and ask God’s Blessings for Father Matt and Father Zach as they prepare to leave Antigo for their new assignments.

Come and go as you please. Observe social distancing and wear masks as you are comfortable. In case of bad weather, we will move to the church hall.
