Lean & Green Funding Thursday 9th September 8.45 –11am Find out more about current and future financial incentives for businesses to implement energy efficiency improvements and install renewable technologies. Includes a detailed overview of the application process for grants, loans and tax breaks. Communicate Your Green Credentials Thursday 7th October 8.45 –11am Understand the ‘green consumer’, communicate your green message and connect with your target audience. Tips will be provided on using social media such as Linked-In and Twitter. Get advice on avoiding the pitfalls of ‘greenwash’. Learn about companies that are successfully playing the green card to win new business. Certifying your Green Credentials Thursday 4th November 8.45 – 11am Have you been asked to implement an Environmental Management System or Policy by a customer or as part of a pre-qualifying questionnaire? Do you want to access new markets? This workshop compares the range of certification schemes—BS8555, ISO14001, Green Tourism Business Scheme, ISO16001 and the Carbon Trust Standard. Learn how to develop an environmental policy and the business benefits of certification. Survival Guide to Environmental Legislation Thursday 2nd December 8.45 – 11am Non-compliance with environmental legislation can result in costly fines and a loss of reputation with your customer base.
