In order to receive these rates, the following rules apply:The Zoo does charge tax. In order to receive a tax-free charge, a tax-exempt form must be sent in advance of arrival. Persons that are part of a group that is tax-exempt but choose to pay individually will be charged with tax.School or groups must consist of at least 15 individuals. One teacher will be let in free per 15 students. Bus drivers will not be charged admission. Individuals not covered by the Institution will be charged taxes.Passes and coupons are not valid with the school or group rate. Please inform parents and chaperone's that they will be charged for entrance regardless of their coupons.Please have an accurate count of individuals and money in order when you come to pay. Payment may be in the form of cash, check, credit or debit card, or purchase order. Please send a copy of the purchase order prior to your arrival. Refunds will not be given once a group has entered the zoo. Please check the weather before you come. We do not refund for rain.Buses must stop in front of the gift shop for loading and unloading of passengers. All vehicles must be stopped before loading/unloading will begin. Attendants will direct passengers where they should go and direct the driver of where to park the bus. Buses must enter on north end at entrance gate.
Zoo Rules for Visitor & Animal SafetyNo running, yelling, or teasing the animals.No throwing, spitting, or throwing objects or feed at the animals.Please feed only the animals instructed to you by park employees.
The zoo is a smoke-free facility.Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult chaperones for the duration of the visit. Follow instructions given by guides. Anyone not following the rules may be asked to leave without refund.No cup lids and/or straws will be allowed in the zoo for the protection of our animals. Instructions MUST be followed during all activities in order to keep everyone safe and happy.
