Views of Oliver Cromwell
MichelleOverall, I think that Oliver Cromwell was a good monarch. He gave parliaments first major victory. He also made parliament the ruler of the kingdom. England became a republic because of Oliver. I believe that he was a strong leader for England accomplished many things. He did have some things that he failed to do like establishing a parliamentary government and a tolerant church but he was still a good ruler/monarch.
Jeremy Oliver Cromwell was a successful monarch. Huntingdon elected Cromwell to Parliament in 1628. This was the start to his successful political career. Cromwell formed a troop of cavalry, gave money for the defense of Parliament, and militarized his constituency in Cambridge. Cromwell was a dominant figure in the English Civil Wars. He led parliament to its first major victory. He was a successful monarch that during his ruling created an environment where his ideas about parliament and church could grow after his death.
Joseph Oliver Crowell was a very successful ruler. He was a strong military leader but people didn’t like him. Before Oliver was a monarch he was in parliament. He worked his way up to a high parliament official. Then when he took over he was a strong leader. Oliver accomplished many things and few failures. He helped make a democracy and helped make the Royal Navy. Over all I think that Oliver Cromwell was a very successful monarch that during the time period help England become a powerful nation.
