Few words from the director

I, Abhishek Chatterjee (Director, Gritsa Technologies) started this venture back in 2010 after having returned from working with AT&T and Motricity in Seattle, WA through a Noida based IT outsourcing company called Globallogic India Pvt Ltd. Having worked intensively on the Agile development model and large scale enterprise applications, I wanted to bring the benefits to smaller level clients by showing the power of strong programming skills combined with a strong development model like Agile. Our clients have loved us ever since!

Abhishek Chatterjee, Principle Architect

Has been in love with programming since the age of 12 when he first started programming for Visual Basic 4. Completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in 2006 he has a strong knack for technology and computer programming.

Has worked with InfoBeans Systems and Globallogic India prior to starting Gritsa Technologies in the year 2010.

Christopher Pigusch, Business Development Head

Perfection is his passion and he strives to build Applications that are not just usable, but make their users fall in love with them. Excellent in Application UI and UX design, he ensures products are delivered with utmost quality. He also oversees the Products being developed at Gritsa Technologies.

Chris was born and raised in Chicago, IL before pursuing Digital Art and Design at Full Sail University in Florida.

Aashish Patil, Delivery Head

Having worked with top brands like Hexaware and Fiserv, Aashish has gained an exquisite insight into the Software development and delivery cycle. His constant strive to achieve perfection with passion has ensured delivery of all projects with tremendous success.

Classmates with Abhishek in Engineering, they have known each other for over 14 years.

Desktop App Development

When we first started as individual programmers, Desktop was “the king”. Your enterprise application was never complete if it didn’t have a powerful Desktop Front End. This still holds true for some of our most trusted clients. The no. 1 Healthcare Financial Software in the US ranked by KLASS is built from the ground up by Gritsa Technologies. We continue to innovate and evolve the entire product ecosystem by expanding it into the web, mobile and social space.

Technologies used for Desktop App development in our team are .NET Framework with WinForms, WPF and Metro UI. Our team also holds strong handle on DevExpress and Component Art suites which allows us to build rapidly with excellent application base.

Web App Development

We have a strong experience in developing web apps with ASP.NET and PHP5 backend. However our core expertise lies in the intense use of top of line Javascript frameworks like Bootstrap, Jquery UI, Angular etc. More and more our team’s philosophy has changed to API driven architecture. We revolve our ecosystem around a strong RESTful API core with our Web App having little to no server side programming at all. This enables us to spawn out Mobile/Desktop/Web modules with relative ease.

Mobile App Development

Without Mobile Apps a product ecosystem is incomplete – this is a notion held by most today. We develop native Apps on the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. This enables us to cover 95% of the mobile app arena. However with our clients followed another mobile app strategy which we have termed the “Rapid Spawn”. In this approach we build mobile apps on Cordova (Phonegap) and Jquery Mobile. This allows us to launch App for a product on at least 5 major platforms in timelines as short as two weeks. We then circle back to a timeline of 2-3 months to release powerful native apps on the major two platforms – iOS and Android. What this

strategy achieves for our clients is to get presence on major stores in record time, and also allows them re-strategize or re-organize their App planning in case the need arises.

Database Development

Having started with major financial applications, we have knack for number crunching solutions that run off of the database with optimum performance. We do not believe in Front end developers doubling up as DB programmers, neither do we use DBA to code the database. We have dedicated SQL programmers who know how to squeeze the information out in as small a query with best execution plans possible. Our forte is SQL Server 2012, MySQL and PostgreSQL
