GRIND FLU MAGAZINE
Mr OOH WEE BABY
Grind Flu Magazine recently sat down with Musa Glenn the CEO of Ooh Wee Baby Entertainment to talk a lil business and to see where he wants to take his company.
Grind Flu Mag:Give us a little insight on Ooh Wee Baby Ent. OWBEnt:I started OohWeeBabyEnt in 2009 after a I had partnered up with a couple friends & a family member in another company (BlackMarketAmerica). I saw a vision for a entertainment company that does everything. So here OohWeeBabyEnt we will be working with all fields of entertainment. We pride ourselves on hard work dedication loyalty & diversity. How I see it, we want all the money. Im saying that to say its so much that can be done to pull revenue, why not do it all. You never know what your capable of till you try. Also here @ OohWeeBaby we also love to give back, we are working on a lot of charities and non profit organizations which we plan to use to make a difference in the Carolinas. To sum it all up, OohWeeBabyEnt is more than a company this is life....... ATMboys
Grind Flu Mag: How did you come up with the name Ooh Wee Baby and what does it represent to you? OWBEnt: My close friend and I would be out and he would see something or someone that was hot and would say Ooh Wee Baby. So I thought it was pretty catchy. Whenever you hear Ooh Wee Baby you know whatever is about to take place is going to be HOT!
Grind Flu Mag: How did you know that you wanted to start an entertainment company? OWBEnt: I have always said I wanted to be my own boss. So when I was financially able, I have pro-moting a shot. After my first party I realized that this was something I would love to do. I love help-ing others and with entertainment I can give those who have not been given a chance to do some-thing they love the opportunity while helping myself in the process. In life you can only be successful doing something you love and I love what I do.
Grind Flu Mag: What makes your entertainment company different from the other entertainment companies out there? OWBEnt: The main thing that makes Ooh Wee Baby Ent. different from other companies is we are striving to be an all around entertainment company. OWB has big goals, we plan on being world-wide and we are working on doing everything from parties for the elite of the industry to managing and signing models, rappers, singers, comedians etc. OWB is going to put SC on the map! Grind Flu Mag: What are some of the events and project your company is working on? OWBEnt: At the present time I am working on building a modeling agency in conjunction with OWBEnt. I have 5 models signed to the OWB that I plan on promoting and marketing worldwide. Al-so I am working more on the promotional and party planning part of my company as well. We have a party coming up Dec 2nd at Cream Nite Lounge- HEADLINER BASH- that is going to be epic!
Grind Flu Mag: You say you have models, can tell us about your models? OWBEnt:My models are a variety of women. With these models we are going to cover the whole modeling world. The modeling world is full of jobs for different sizes and shapes. So I figured why not go for it. Our groups of models are called Ali’s Angels. These ladies will be the face of OWBEnt. Just keep your eyes open, you will see us!
Grind Flu Mag: How are you making a difference in the community? OWBEnt: Well are working with a lot of non-profit organizations, especially this holiday. To be a good leader, you must be a great servant!
Grind Flu Mag: What can your entertainment com-pany bring to the community? OWBEnt: My entertainment company will bring jobs as well be a positive company for the young people to follow. Not to mention we will be giving the next generation hope and belief that they can actually do something with their lives other than living off government assistance.
Grind Flu Mag: What are you goals for Ooh Wee Baby Ent? OWBEnt: My goals for OWBEnt are to become worldwide and change lives!
Grind Flu Mag: If you could change anything about the entertainment industry what would it be and why? OWBEnt: I’m not sure what I change in this industry. All I can say is that I love a challenge!
Grind Flu Mag: If you had the opportunity to through a party in any venue around the world, what venue would you choose and why? OWBEnt: A party on a cruise ship, in the Atlantic Ocean, for 3 days!! Now that’s going to be epic!! Ooops sshhh don’t tell nobody, lol!!
Grind Flu Mag: Who are the 3 most influential entertainers of all time? OWBEnt: I really cant name just 3; Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Tupac, Biggie, Krs One, Tina Turner, Rev Run plus many more!
Grind Flu Mag: Do you any plans of managing artists? OWBEnt: Yes I do. I plan on signing artists once the time is right. One main thing I have learned about life is to have patience never rush. When the time is right God will let me know.
Grind Flu Mag: If you were to manage artists, what do you think determines a good artist? OWBEnt: A good artist is determined by personality, work ethic, love for the business, and they have to have that “IT” factor.
Grind Flu Mag: How do you determine success? OWBEnt: By making a difference. I see making profit a success as long as you are learning to have appreciation for it.
Grind Flu Mag: What is your message to any haters that you may have? OWBEnt: I love yall and I’m sincere about that! #FREEPROMOTION Your apart of the team and don’t even know it.
Grind Flu Mag: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? OWBEnt: 5 years from now I see me and my team taking over the industry and making major changes in the world.
Grind Flu Mag: People say their next move is their best move, so whats your next move for your entertainment company? OWBEnt: Making a major mark in this world and building a brand that will last until the end of time!
E-Lo- (Eric Wilson) was
born and raised in greenville county, and only 21 years old a real 90's baby. Came up running around in the district streets got jammed up doing the same in the city of mauld-in. Never considered taking rapping serious just spent time writing as a hobby. Until he spent 8 months in gcdc and had nothing else to do. From the influences of local artists AMG and Braindead decided to take it serious. A few months after coming home he linked up and signed with braindead entertain-ment. Not to long after Brain-
dead got locked up and things slowed down. In february of 2010 he came home and they connected again, and went straight to the studio to record E-Lo's first song. After doing his thing on his own for a while he was approached by Currency Gang artist/ceo about joining currency gang. After some consideration he joined currency gang in the summer of 2010. Since then things have been takin off for him, and he's been showing that he is a growing problem in his city.
