• What?- Grim Sleeper was accused of killing 10 women in the mid-1980’s in alleyways and dumpsters. He took more than 1,000 pictures and videos of the women nude and made them take sexual graphic photos.

• The suspect didn’t really have a motive on the killings he just chose to kill women for fun.

• He didn’t have no relationship with any of the women it was just random killings.

• He didn’t have any history of violence but he was arrested over 15 times for burglary.

• I think people should care about this case because a lot of people don’t know what’s going on in cities around them

• I chose this topic because hearing that it was recent and on the run for over 14 years and was never caught each time he went to jail and never left behind any evidence was very interesting

Legal Aspects of Grim Sleeper

• The case was resolved by going to Mr. Franklin’s house and finding the pictures of all the women he had murdered, and also the DNA found on one of the victims.

• He was charged with murder of all the women and was sentenced to the death penalty.

• As of today he is still in jail and is awaiting trial.
