Question No. 3 Can you clarify products supplied by GSP?

Answer No. 3 The District provides paper products and hand soap as listed on page 22 of the RFP. Additionally we provide hand sanitizer, toilet seat covers, and Sanisac waxed bag liners (for feminine hygiene products).

Question No. 4 You mentioned that the current contract was for the common areas and 629 hours per week, what is the annual amount for that contract?

Answer No. 4 Actually, it’s 626 max. hours per week. The hours vary from week to week due to employee call outs, sick, vacation etc. The Account Manager’s hours are not included in the 626 hours. This only covers the terminal and concourses that we looked at during the tour and the scopes do not align. There is additional work in the current RFP that is not currently being done by the current janitorial company.

Question No. 5 Please provide the scheduled time for the last arriving flight each day.

Answer No. 5 The last scheduled arrival is 11:59pm. Airline schedules are updated quarterly and changes should be expected throughout the contract period.

Question No. 7 Please advise if current employees are covered by a CBA.

Answer No. 7 No.

Question No. 8 During the site tour, we noticed different floor surfaces such as the wood floor in the administrative area and the ceramic tile in the terminal areas. Is it possible to be given the instructions/guidelines for caring for each of these floor surfaces in advance of the bid due date? Based on the Scope of Work, we’re concerned that the floor maintenance suggested doesn’t reflect the need for those specific floor types. Answer No. 8 In preparing your proposal please feel free to list how you intend to take care of the floors; we are not going to provide cleaning methods. It will be up to the evaluation committee to review your proposal and possibly discuss in greater detail the scope of services you have listed. (Page 5 of the RFP) Question No. 9 A.
