Storyhours The spring session of storyhours are now in progress and will continue through the first week of June. Please drop by the children’s room or call 949-3630 x2 for availability.

Bedtime Story TimeChildren ages 3-6 are invited to join us for a special evening story time at the library. Children will hear stories and songs and make a fun craft! Bedtime story time will take place on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 pm. Registration, which begins May 1, can be done at the children’s desk or by phone at 949-3630 ext 2. Chil-dren may wear their pajamas.

Bubble DisplayGrace Maione, age twelve, will display her Polly Pocket collection. Grace collects Polly Pocket because she likes to design houses for them! So be sure to stop in the children’s room to see Grace’s fun collection!

Friday is Game day @ the Library

Come to the library on Fri-days from 2:00 – 4:30 to play a board game. Bring a friend or make a new one! This is a drop in program, no sign up is necessary.

Apple Blossom Garden ClubChildren ages 6-10 may join the ladies of the Apple Blossom Garden Club to learn how to make a Mother’s Day arrange-ment using fresh flowers on Thursday, May 7th at 4:00 pm. Please register in person or call the children’s room at 949-3630 x2 to register

Art Class @ the LibraryDoes your child love to be creative? If so this is the class for them!Artist and teacher Adele Karbows-ki will be teaching an art class on Thursday, May 28th at 4:00 pm for children ages 6-10. Kids Reading Across RI Celebration Saturday, May 9th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the RI State House is the kick off to summer reading! This year’s selection is Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by award winning author and National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Kate DiCamillo. But that’s not all! Help to create a superhero with illustrator Eric Fulford, visit with baby squirrels, preview the new Flora & Ulysses play, and enjoy crafts, games, and activities from RI libraries and organizations.

PAWS to ReadDoes your child need practice in reading skills? Here is an opportunity to practice this spring with a therapy dog who LOVES to listen to stories! Children ages 6-11 may sign up for one 20-minute session on Monday, May 11th and 18th from 6:30 – 7:30.Registration is required.
