Bicycling & WalkingCapital Bikeshare: DC has one of the largest bike sharing systems, with more than 200 stations and 2500 bikes, including near AU’s main gate on Mass. Ave and at the Tenley Metro.

Zipcar: AU features eight self-service cars on campus that can be used by the hour or day, on demand, including students ages 18 and over

Car2Go: Rent cars by the minute and park them anywhere in DC

Electric Vehicles: Electric vehicles, such as the Chevy Volt & Nissan Leaf, can use the charging station in the Katzen garage for free with an AU parking permit
