Grid-tied Solar PV Systems
Solar PV Panels (photovoltaics) on roofing
or carports convert sunlight into Direct
Current. DC is converted via an Inverter
into usable Alternating Current (AC power).
Grid-tied means that when the sun shines,
your system feeds this solar power into
your electrical supply system, providing an
alternate and supplementary electrical
supply that you would historically have paid
for from your Utility Provider
