    The green technology roadmap which aims to spell out thedirection Malaysia should take in implementing and encouragethe adoption of green technology and green practices acrosseconomic sectors as well as the citizens.

    The Green Technology Master Plan

    The GTMP shall cover overall green technology applications andaction plans in all relevant economic sectors but with varyingdegree of coverage as detailed below. The scope of study isdivided into four stages:

    Prepare GTMP frameworkbased on six (6) key

    enablers viz. human capital,financial incentives,

    infrastructure, regulatoryframework, innovation, and

    branding;

    Identify Prioritised GreenCore Technologies and

    Businesses

    Conduct Techno-EconomicModelling Analysis

    Prepare comprehensive actionplans and identify relevantimplementing agencies. The

    The Sustainable Achieved Via Energy Efficiency(SAVE) Programme

    The SAVE programme was launched on the7th July 2011 offering100,000 rebate vouchers for energy efficient refrigerators and65,000 vouchers for air conditioners

    The implementation of this programme includes various parties ranging fromutility companies like TNB, SESB and SESCO and supported by 5-starelectrical appliances producers and association.

    3 Till now, 12 different brands of five-star air conditioners and

    refrigerators have been sold through this programme
