Money is one resource. That’s why it makes sense to be in business.

But there are others which are just as significant...

The biggest economic engine behind my work is generosity.

Over 80% of the resource needed to put on the festival in 2012 came from an exchange of favours, professional time and in-kind donations. Therefore our most important activity is making it feel awesome to contribute.

Events create energy, focus attention and give impetus for engagement. Having an inspiring brand and

compelling communications increase capacity to attract money and other resources.
