    Benefits of Green Juice.

    Leading medical authorities, nutritionists, dietitians, and other known experts in the medical field recommend that we consume three to five servings of green leafyvegetables a day. No vitamin or medicine is a legitimate substitute. The healing elements that are found in green leafy vegetables are so powerful and synergistic, nocombination of synthetic medicines or supplements could ever match their power.     1. Chlorophyll power Chlorophyll, a green plant pigment, isquite possibly the most powerful elementthat exists in the universe.     between the two chemical structures is thatthe central binder of chlorophyll ismagnesium, while the center element ofhemoglobin is iron. Some research is now suggesting thatchlorophyll can efficiently releasemagnesium, and replace it with iron. In otherwords, chlorophyll can actually be convertedto hemoglobin, which increases the flow ofoxygen to all parts of the body.

    The ability of the body to maintain anenvironment rich in oxygen is important forseveral reasons. One of the most importantbenefits is that it allows the body to releasemore carbon dioxide, which in turn, reducesstress on the body, creates greater energy

    and endurance, and creates an aerobicenvironment. In an aerobic environment,disease cannot initiate.

    An aerobic environment also is beneficialto the so-called friendly bacteria, anddetrimental to bad bacteria. The goodbacteria promote digestive health, while badbacteria contribute to such things asdisease, body odor, and bad breath.

    2. Trace Minerals If you look in a chart of minerals, you'll seethat the recommended source of virtually allminerals and trace minerals is green leafyvegetables. In fact, such vegetables almost

    always are the number one source of traceminerals. It is not an accident that while wehave begun consuming fewer and fewergreen foods, the lack of trace minerals quitepossibly has become the number one causeof disease within western culture today. Magnesium and iron are two key minerals,both for men and for women. However,chlorophyll is the only food that creates anenvironment that is ideally suited to deliverand to maintain those proper mineralqualities within the human physiology.

    Chlorophyll contains magnesium as itscentral element and when we ingest foodsrich in chlorophyll, magnesium is immediately

    supplements usually result only inconstipation and headaches. This is becausethe body does not know what to do with theiron it is receiving. These peptides act as the buildingblocks for the immune system, enhancereproductive function, and create leanconnective tissue which leads to dense,heavy permanent muscle on the body.     4. Enzymes Green foods contain phyto-nutrients that

    5. Alkalizing Agent Acid and alkalinity is measured on a pHscale of 0 to 14 with 7 being neutral. Scoresabove 7 are alkaline, and scores below 7 areacidic.

    Certain ecologies of the body must bealkaline in order for humans to be healthy.The most notable example is the humanblood which must a pH of 7.4. When ourblood does not get enough raw materials tokeep it in a healthy alkaline state, then itliterally will borrow or rob alkaline potentialfrom the other ecologies of the body. The various parts of the body that shouldbe alkaline include the blood, the mouth, thesmall intestine and at times, the urinarytract. The first ecology that it will rob is themouth. This is important because when ourmouths are over acidic, there are a numberof common problems. These include cavities,plaque, bleeding gums, periodontal disease,and bad breath. Green foods can reverse this dangerousprocess. In fact, if you drink a green juiceproduct, you will often see a profoundeffect- a strengthening of

    the gums, a cessation of bleeding whenbrushing or flossing, a reduction of' plaque,and an elimination of cavities. And mostimportantly, by normalizing the pH of theoral cavity of the mouth, then we find thatwe are capable of eating foods that arebetter for us and enjoying them. This in turnallows us to have the willpower to rejectfoods that are not good for us.
