Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans, stems removed1 cup homemade cream of mushroom soup1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup cream cheese. softened1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepperpinch red pepper flakes, optional6 oz french fried onions
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare green beans by removing stems and cutting into 1” pieces. Place cut green beans in a large pot of salted boiling water and cook 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk homemade cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper until well combined.
Stir in green beans with a wooden spoon and transfer to a casserole dish.
When ready to bake, top with french fried onions. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and the green beans are bubbly.
