• INSIDE THE SERIES: Butler leads the all-time series with Green Bay 29-14 and has won 11 of 18 meetings in Green Bay. The Bulldogs have won three-straight games in the series, with the Phoenix last winning at the Resch Center, 75-66, on Feb. 2, 2009. Butler won last season’s meeting in Green Bay 75-57 on Jan. 29, 2010.

• THE LAST MEETING: Junior Steve Baker scored a team-high 20 points and senior Rahmon Fletcher led a furious comeback with 18 as the Phoenix rallied from 21 points down. Fletcher had a potential game-tying three rim out with under a minute before Butler closed out an 81-75 win at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Jan. 21.

• BULLDOGS PLAYER TO WATCH: Senior Matt Howard is averaging 17.1 points and 7.8 re-bounds per game and is the running for the Horizon League Player of the Year award. The 6-foot-8 senior had 29 points and 16 rebounds the first time the two squads met this season. Howard is shooting 45.9 percent from long range and has gotten to the free-throw line 159 times this season, hitting 128.

• WILLIAMS WATCH: Junior Jarvis Williams has scored at least eight points in six-straight games, including double figures in five contests. Williams is averaging 11.0 points and 6.5 re-bounds during that stretch.

• TOP-10 OF ALL-TIME: Fletcher continues to work his way up the Green Bay scoring chart. On pace to finish his career in fifth place all-time, Fletcher is currently in seventh place on the scor-ing ledger. He is seven points away from becoming the seventh Green Bay player ever to score 1,600 career points and 27 points from becoming sixth all-time.

• RECORD BREAKER: Freshman Alec Brown had three blocks in each of Green Bay’s contests last week, and the 7-foot-1 center now has 58 blocks this season. He is averaging 2.2 per game, and the freshman broke the single-season record previously shared by Larry Hill (1991-92) and Terry Evans (2006-07). Brown, who ranks third in the Horizon League in blocks per game, also holds the school records for block in a game, blocks in a game at the Resch Center and blocks in a season by a freshman.

• TOUGH STRETCH: Green Bay, who opened February with three-straight road games, will play just two of nine contests in the month at the Resch Center. The travels for the team include a non-conference trip to Southern Illinois this Saturday.

KAM CATCHES FIRE • After a tough start to his freshman sea-son, Kam Cerroni has knocked down shots in the past six games, hitting seven three-point-ers. • Cerroni started the season just 2-for-24 from long range before hitting 2-of-3 against Wright State and 3-of-5 against Detroit. • He added a three against Milwaukee and five points Saturday at Loyola. • The freshman missed the season’s first 10 games while being slated to redshirt be-fore being activated at Wisconsin.

JOLT OF JARVIS • Since being reinserted into the starting lineup at small forward, Jarvis Williams is av-eraging 9.7 points and 6.1 rebounds over a 14-game stretch, shooting 54.5 percent (55-101). • He has been especially effective on the road, scoring in double figures in six of the team’s past seven games. • Williams missed seven games early in the season with an ankle injury.

OFFENSIVE GLASS CLEANERS • Green Bay ranks first in the Horizon League in offensive rebounds per game (13.1). • Freshman Daniel Turner, who had nine offensive rebounds against Duquesne, is tied for seventh in the league at 2.4 per game. • Green Bay is grabbing 36.8 percent of the

HOME SWEET HOME • Green Bay improved to 9-3 at home in 2010-11 with the win over Detroit in its last contest at the Resch Center. The Phoenix has won six of seven on its home floor. • Since 2007-08, the Phoenix is 43-12 at the Resch, a 78.2 winning percentage. • Senior Rahmon Fletcher is averaging 17.5 points per game at home, where Green Bay has a plus-4.8 rebounding margin.

RISING RAHMON • Fletcher is now in the top-10 all-time in Green Bay’s storied history in points, assists, steals and field goals made and attempted. • If he continues at his current average this season, Fletcher will score over 1,700 career points and finish in the top five on the pro-gram’s scoring list. • The senior is also on pace to finish in the top-10 in scoring average, three-point field goals made and attempted and games played.

MIGHTY MOUSE • Fletcher, nicknamed “Mouse,” has been a consistent scorer this season, tallying double figures in 21 of 25 games, including at least 15 points 16 times. • Green Bay is 6-0 when Fletcher scores at least 20 points and 0-4 when he fails to reach double figures.

rebounds off its missed shots, just one-tenth behind UIC for the Horizon League lead.

WHAT THE WIND’S BLOWIN’ IN • Wardle has gone back to his roots in re-cruiting, signing three Chicago area players in November, including: • Aaron Armstead - a 6-foot-4 guard from Hales Fransiscan • Greg Mays - a 6-foot-9 forward Crete-Monee • Kiefer Sykes - a 5-foot-10 point guard from Marshall High School.

I’LL TAKE THAT • Fletcher currently has 191 steals in his Phoenix career, ranking second in Green Bay history behind only Terry Evans’ 237. • The senior is tied for sixth in the Horizon League in steals per game, averaging 1.6 per contest. • His five steals against Miami (Nov. 21) tied his career high and tied for the ninth-most in school history.

WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU? • Over the past 16 games, Alec Brown is averaging 10.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocks while shooting 54.2 percent (64-118). • The first of those 16 games was at Wis-consin on Dec. 13, a game in which Brown scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

BROWN’S BLOCK PARTY • Brown broke the school record for blocks in a season against Wright State and now has 58 in his freshman campaign. • He broke the record of 47 previously shared by Larry Hill (1991-92) and Terry Evans (2006-07). • Brown also broke Evans’ record for blocks by a freshman (29 in 2005-06). • The 7-foot-1 Brown’s eight blocks against North Dakota (12/20) broke a school record for the Phoenix previously set by Nate Barnes against Northern Iowa on Dec. 11, 1982. • It also tied the Resch Center record and helped the Phoenix break the team record for blocks in a game with 10. • His average of 2.2 blocks per game ranks third in the Horizon League. • He also had six blocks in his college debut against Minnesota Duluth.

OFFENSIVE OUTPUT • The win over Detroit on Jan. 30 was one of Green Bay’s best offensive games of the season. • The team had season highs of 85 points, 20 assists and 11 three-pointers made. • Green Bay also had just five turnovers, a

HORIZON LEAGUE UPDATEseason low for the team.

COMEBACK KIDS • Including Jan. 30 against Detroit, seven of Green Bay’s 12 wins this season have come in games where they have trailed in the second half. • In four of those wins, Green Bay has been down at halftime - Miami (down 5), North Da-kota (down 10), Wyoming (down 5) and Val-paraiso (down by 10). • Green Bay trailed Valpo 28-18 early in the second half on Jan. 23 before outscoring the Crusaders 45-33 the rest of the way.

SENIORS IN THE SECOND • The main reasons for Green Bay’s come-back wins have been seniors Rahmon Fletch-er and Bryquis Perine. • In the second halves of the team’s wins, the pair has combined to average 17.3 points (Fletcher-10.7, Perine-6.6) and hit 69-of-135 shots from the field (51.1 percent), including 18-of-38 three-pointers. • Fletcher scored 10 of his 13 in the second half to help Green Bay defeat Milwaukee and 14 of his 21 in the second against Loyola.

GANG REBOUNDING • Despite being the league’s top rebound-ing team, Green Bay has only one player in the league’s top-10 in rebounds per game. • The Phoenix rebounds with a team effort, and four players are averaging between 4.6 and 5.8 boards per game. • Seven different players have led the team in rebounding at least once in a Horizon League game.

THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT • Brown, at 7-foot-1, is one of the tallest players in the country, while junior Eric Valen-tin, at 5-foot-4, is one of the shortest. • The 21-inch size differential between the two players is the biggest of any teammates in the country.

START IT UP • Brian Wardle has used five different start-ing lineups this season, but the same five have started the last 10 games and 15 of the last 16. • Daniel Turner (21 games), Troy Sny-der (three games) and Jarvis Williams (two games) have all started at the four spot. • Turner and Williams have started the last 21 and 154 games, respectively. • Perine and Brown have each started all 26 games for the Phoenix.
