with intensive training and technical assistance to commercialize their innovations, grow their
business and create quality jobs. Maximum awards of $5,000 and $20,000.

Our policymakers are committed to maintaining lowered taxes
and providing competitive incentives, including the Quality
Jobs Tax Credit, a competitive tax credit to encourage business
investment and the creation of high-quality jobs in the region,
tied to the achievement of performance milestones.
• Research & Development tax credits of 24% for qualified expenditures
• $9,000 of corporate income tax over three years per qualified job
• The corporate income tax rate steadily decreases from 6% in 2015 to 4.9% in 2017
• Refundable tax credits of 10% of capital investment or $20,000 per qualified job
• Sales Factor increases to 100% by 2017
• Companies not receiving property tax incentives under the Renewable Energy Tax Incentives Program (REITP), Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), or Military Reuse Zone (MRZ) programs can elect to take additional depreciation on their personal property
• Income tax credits up to 35% for investors of small businesses
