ABOUT GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA

Rich with culture and home to nearly 1.8 million people, Broward County is the 18th largest county in the nation. Within the county’s 1,320 square miles are 31 municipalities, the largest of which is the county seat, Fort Lauderdale.

A “Progressive Diverse Citizenry” earned Fort Lauderdale a well-deserved spot among America’s Top 100 Best Places to Live, Work and Play by Livability.com.
