AtriumThis spectacular contemporary space spans four stories and is surrounded by some of the most iconic pieces from the national collection. A beautiful, sophisticated space, it offers a blank canvas on which to add the colour and detail of your event.

Belfast RoomOne of the original galleries of the museum which opened in 1929, this beautiful space has been brought back to its former glory. A grand yet intimate setting, the Belfast Room is ideal for smaller events. The adjoining Stranmillis Hall is perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

Lecture TheatreThis state of the art facility is located on the ground floor adjacent to the Atrium. In addition to its tiered seating and stage area, it has a bespoke sound system and excellent acoustics. This multi-functional space has a capacity of 200 and offers professional conference facilities in a unique setting.

Art GalleriesThe seven galleries house exquisite collections of Irish and international art, as well as hosting spectacular touring exhibitions. Located on the upper levels of the museum, these beautiful galleries provide a stunning backdrop for gala dinners, surrounded by the Ulster Museum’s world-class collections.

The entire museum can be opened for a stunning reception. Spanning four floors the history, science and art galleries will add a very special ambience for your event. Catering for up to 1500 guests, it will provide a real sense of place during a busy conference.

The Ulster American Folk Park brings to life the human drama behind Irish emigration. This open-air museum, set in over 60 acres of rolling countryside, offers unique and fascinating insights into our history.

Two continents, two worlds, the old and the new, make for unforgettable entertaining. The museum’s Ship and Dockside gallery houses the full-scale replica emigrant ship, “The Brig Union”, and provides a magical setting for a variety of events. Good food, live musicians and entertainment will complete the convivial scene.

With a vast array of interesting locations from the thatched cottages of Ulster to the New World homesteads of the American Frontier, the museum is sure to intrigue and captivate your guests.

Ship & Dockside GalleryThe old and new worlds of the Ulster American Folk Park are linked by the Ship & Dockside Gallery. This unique space houses a full-scale replica of an early emigrant sailing ship and is available for evening events and dinners. Delegates can also enjoy a tour of the museum, mingling with costumed visitor guides telling stories from the old and new worlds.

Outdoor MuseumThe Ulster American Folk Park offers a uniquely distinctive backdrop for events. Guests can experience the human drama behind centuries of Irish emigration through a tailor made programme built around your needs.
