Following the conversion of the Sapi Safari area to a private photographic reserve in 2016, together the two comprise of 337,600 hectares of prime protected wilderness and epic landscapes here are second to none in Africa. Three nights in three locations, including the Sapi Starbeds (pictured right) will offer the perfect introduction to Great Plains Conservation’s Greater Mana Expeditions program which will open 1 May 2018 as a 6 night program for travelers.
Night 1: On cliffs overlooking the Sapi River, west facing with views over Mana Pools and the Zambian escarpment.
Night 2: Sapi Starbeds, situated under spectacular evergreens with a natural spring close by, on a bend overlooking the Sapi River. Natural pans near by allow for some spectacular walks in this area.
Night 3: Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River looking north west over the Zambezi.
