The team of onboard photographers will capture those hard to get shots – perhaps of your first underwater experience, getting up close and personal with a Grouper or Maori Wrasse. CERTIFIED DIVING* Experienced divers can enjoy spectacular dives at specially selected sites. These sites offer the very best of the region with a variety of coral formations that are teeming with marine life. For the ultimate in peace and tranquility indulge in a soothing massage while overlooking the incredible Great Barrier Reef – pure bliss. A range of massages are available on the pontoon and also onboard whilst enroute to and from the reef. Massages start at $25. There are 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minute massages available.

GETTING THERE• The journey to and from the reef is all part of the experience. You’ll pass spectacular islands and

at certain times of year you will be able to spot whales and other wildlife.

• Enroute to the reef, staff will give you an introduction to all the activities on offer at the pontoon.

REEF PONTOONS• Cruise Whitsundays currently has two pontoon sites on the Great Barrier Reef – one at Hardy

Reef and one at Knuckle Reef. Both pontoons offer slightly different experiences but either way you will be delighted with your Great Barrier Reef experience. Your skipper will let you know your destination as you depart.

• Both reef sites are located alongside coral walls which you will be able to explore either on your own or on guided snorkel safaris.

• Around the Reef pontoons you’ll see prolific fish life. Don’t miss the Grouper window!

• The best coral is a short distance away from the pontoon. Marker buoys and ropes clearly indicate the areas you are free to explore and our staff will be happy to provide directions.

FACILITIES AT THE PONTOONS • Tailor made for the reef sites our innovative pontoons have numerous features and activities.

• Lots of space both undercover and on the sundeck.

• A spectacular, panoramic underwater observatory – just wander on down as often as you like. Interpretive posters and fish ID photos are on display.

• The reef vessel remains accessible throughout the day if you need a bit of air conditioned cooling! Lunch is served onboard. Seating is available on the vessel and the pontoon.

• A huge snorkelling area is defined both for your safety and the protection of the reef. The area is within view of staff on lifeguard watch.

ACTIVITIES AT THE REEF • Cruise Whitsundays offers you a range of inclusive activities and awesome optional extras.

• Explore the reef snorkelling on your own or on a guided safari. Use of all gear including optional lightweight wetsuits is included. Kids try the spy viewer paddle boards!

• Never snorkelled before? Buoyancy aids and instructions are available from our friendly staff.

• No need to get wet - see the magnificent corals and fish beneath the surface on our semi-submersible submarine or the underwater observatory.

• Top up the tan on the sun loungers.

There is undercover seating and tables, sun decks for topping up the tan, freshwater showers, change rooms and full access to the air conditioned comfort of the reef vessel. There are numerous ways to explore the reef, from the underwater observatory chamber, to the semi-submersible submarines, snorkelling or scuba diving like a fish beneath the sea!

The pontoons are adjacent to coral walls, the length of which you can explore, each with their own ecosystems with magnificent corals and a diversity of marine life found only in sheltered areas. It provides a unique world for you to explore. The prolific fish life will surprise and delight you - especially the giant Grouper!

All of our vessels are high speed catamarans with spacious air conditioned lounges, large outer viewing decks, bars serving refreshments and comfortable seating.

All this sea air makes you hungry! Throughout the day curb your hunger with morning and afternoon tea and a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by our onboard chef.

Included in your cruise fare is a fee per person which Cruise Whitsundays pays on to the Australian Government. It is used for the management and protection of the Reef by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.

BOOKING CONDITIONS1. Departure times can be seen at cruisewhitsundays.com or with the

front desk at your accommodation. Changes may occur due to flight schedule changes and other factors. Where a Day Cruise is cancelled we will send notification to the contact details provided at the time of your booking.

2. Cruise Whitsundays Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter prices, cancel departures, apply a fuel surcharge, arrange alternative transport, itineraries and services when necessary.

3. On occasions we may go to an alternative reef site and use an alternative vessel other than ‘Seaflight’.

4. In the interest of passenger safety departures, itineraries and activities are subject to sea and weather conditions. Should the company be forced to cancel or alter cruises our liability is limited to offering an alternative or an appropriate refund no greater than the fare paid. Cruise Whitsundays is not responsible for missed flights due to late arrival at airline check-in counter.

5. The company shall not be held responsible for any property loss or damage and/or any claim resulting from personal injury or death arising whilst travelling with the company, participating in activities, on the vessel or pontoon or other company property. This disclaimer applies irrespective of the cause.

6. Where another company or persons operate the service such as diving and helicopter flights or shore transfers, Cruise Whitsundays is acting only as a Sales Agent. Responsibility and liability for the operation lies with that operator.

7. All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST.

8. Children’s fares: 4 to 14 years inclusive. Infants under 4 years no charge. Please advise at time of booking when an infant is travelling.

9. Age and medical restrictions apply to diving activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed. Due to altitude restrictions certified divers cannot fly after diving.

10. Cancellation fees - No show and 24 hours or less notice cancellation fee is 100%. 24 to 48 hours notice 50% of fare. Transfer to another Cruise Whitsundays cruise no fee.

11. For credit card payments a 1.5% fee applies to Visa and Mastercard transactions, and a 2.8% fee applies to Diners and Amex transactions.

12. Travel is subject to our Conditions of Carriage. A copy is held in our offices or can be viewed on www.cruisewhitsundays.com
