Push-back StorageModified variants of the “classic” Live Storageare possible with using the same components.Thus push-back conveyors can be made. Whenstoring the pallet in a push-back system the pal-let is pushed against the inclination with a forktruck and is removed from the conveying systemon the same (Lifo-System = Last in – First out).Only two end stops serving as safety elementsare necessary as the storing is carried out bymeans of a fork truck. The conveyor should beapproximately 100 mm longer than the theoret-ical calculated length, which is required to storethe pallets (numbers of pallet x length of thepallet + 100 mm)

By combining the mentioned basic types onecan develop a number of construction types justas required by the customer.

Pallet Cross Batten TransportWith all storage types and dependent on thedesign (roller distance, pallet form etc.) palletscan be conveyed in longways direction or incross batten direction with all storage versions.

Live Storage Racking with Gravity RollerConveyorsEverywhere, where more than 4 pallets are con-veyed on one conveyor, EUROROLL-GravityConveyors are usable. With Gravity Roller Conveyors ending on theground, pallets can be removed from unloadingside or stored on the loading side by means of amanual hand truck, fork truck or electric fork truck.The conveyors are equipped with supports dow-eled to the ground. A simple and useful construc-tion, which is used in many areas.

Live Storage Racking, High-level RackingThe Live Storage Racking consists of Gravity RollerConveyors, which are fixed on a racking system.Several conveyors next to each other create eco-nomic use of space as well as an economic storingsystem resulting in better unloading aisles and intime and cost optimisation. The loading and un-loading sides are separated. Apart from the stor-age function the conveyors have also got a trans-port function. These conveyors are equipped withBrake Rollers, so that the pallet – also when theconveyor is empty – will move to the end at con-stant speed. In due course the customer will savemoney with the maintenance-free roller tracks.

Construction of the live storage systems withEUROROLL-Pallet Roller Conveyors

Existing pallet storage systems are changed overto pallet roller conveyors. The advantages are, thatthe order picking front and the loading front areseparated, so that costs are reduced in regard togangway and picking and at the same time acci-dents in the warehouse are prevented. With EU-ROROLL-Additional Elements it is very easy tochange over the existing storage systems. As re-quired the pallet can be stored either lengthwiseor crosswise.

The conveyors are mounted to the beams with in-finitely variable mounting clamps. The advantageis that the conveyors are mounted tension-free.Furthermore the beams are not weakened by bor-ings in the cross-section.

EUROROLL-Pallet Roller Conveyors +Standard Pallet Packing = Low CostSolution for Flow Stores

The concept is simple:Standard width pallet racking frames can beused, because all working parts of the rollerconveyors are situated within the height of theconveyor profiles. Traverses should be fitted giv-ing a declination of 3.75 % to 4.25 %. By meansof the infinitely adjustable clamps (BKE) thetraverses are fitted to the frame. There is noneed to bore additional fixing holes. The instal-lation is therefore absolutely simple. The con-veyors lie on the beams without any tension.One or more conveyors can be installed next toeach other on one set of beams

The fixing of the conveyors is shown in detail B.Best type of beams are open profiles or doubleT-shaped profiles (see detail B). At loading andpicking faces (details A and C) angle typebeams are most suitable. This method protectsthe conveyors and has the additional advantageof extra space for loading and unloading thepallets. The fork drivers will be grateful for this.The EUROROLL conveyors can, of course, alsobe supplied as gravity conveyors with simplestands.

Beams distances:The beam distances for the supporting beamsare illustrated in the diagram at the side.Normally, beam distances over 1300 mm are tobe avoided, as too much flexing will interferewith the smooth running of the pallets whenheavily loaded.
