PICTURE DAY MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th LABOR DAY-NO SCHOOL PRINCIPAL’S POINT: Good evening Grassy Creek families, We will be “launching” Blended Learning Monday. As Ms. Hardin and I shared during the Meet the Teacher Night introduction video, Blended Learning is the model we will be using to personalize the instruction for each of your children. There are four key components (Digital Content, Student Re- flection, Targeted Instruction, and Data Driven Decisions) that will be in place to maximize the in- struction and growth for each student. If you would like more information about what this will look like in your child’s classroom, feel free to reach out to their teacher and they would be happy to share the “1 Pager” they created which explains Blended Learning within their room. In future Princi- pal Points, I will be sharing more about what can be done at home to help reinforce the personal- ized instruction taking place at school as well as how we can learn from you to help better teach your child while they are with us. I hope everyone has a great weekend and don’t forget to fill out the back of this page to enroll in our email distribution list. The money we save from using less copy paper for the newsletters will be used in other ways to improve your child’s education. Thank you, Lance Schnaus
