The evening of drinks and canaps brought together many of Grass Roots Meetings & Events clients as well as members of the press to

Grass Roots Meetings & Events has chosen Cancer Research UK as its supported charity for the forthcoming year with members

of the team running in several Race For Life events across the next month.

All three Meetings & Events offices have taken up the challenge with Team Putney completing their 10K challenge in Clapham last

weekend. Team Fleet are set to take on their 5K in Basingstoke on the 17th June and Team Marlow will run a 5K in High Wycombe

on the 28th June.

A target of 3,300 has been set by the teams and donations can be made at their Just Giving site (www.justgiving.com/Grass-Roots-

Race-For-Life-2015).

Cancer Research UK is a charity close to everybody here at Grass Roots so we were really keen to raise some money in the 2015 Race For Life, comments Amanda

Harrison, Grass Roots Meetings & Events Marketing Executive. Team Putney completed our challenge in Clapham on Saturday but both Team Fleet and Marlow are doing their

runs later this month. Its a fantastic cause so please donate what you can towards our target and help us show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink!

The fastest 10K by Team Putney was claimed by Dovile Kavaliauskaite with a time of 52 minutes.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Race for Life is a series of women-only events raising money for research into

Grass Roots Meetings & Events has employed a talented industry jobseeker following the inaugural MPI Connects event.

The event, which took place in April at Westminster University, brought together industry employers and talented jobseekers. As a result, Grass Roots

Meetings & Events has employed Bournemouth Universitys Takara Patrick as an Event Coordinator and she began her role on the 15th June.

The MPI Connects event was a great opportunity which not only benefitted the jobseekers but ourselves as employers, comments Sue Massey, Grass Roots Meetings &

Events Operational Director. Off the back of the event we have been able to employ a fantastic graduate in Takara and we are excited about her future in one of our client

implant teams in London. The whole idea of bringing employers together with those searching for careers within the industry should be applauded.

MPI Connects combined insightful education with speed-dating style meetings whilst enabling young jobseekers to learn more about potential positions, opportunities and

interview techniques. Content also included body language, what employers really look for and how students can make their CVs stand out from the rest. Employers were also

asked to share their experiences related to student and graduate employment.

Hamish Reid, UK Commercial Director at Meeting Professionals International, said: One of our main aims is to aid students with the transition between full-time education

and finding a career. MPI Connects was created for the sole purpose of connecting jobseekers and students like Takara to potential recruiters so for a global company such

as Grass Roots to hire as a result of the event is a real success.

strong profit growth

TRING, HERTFORDSHIRE - Grass Roots, the world's leading provider

of employee and customer engagement solutions, is delighted to

announce its 2014 results, which reveal strong performances across the

global Group.

The Grass Roots Group PLC finished 2014 ahead of expectations, a

substantial improvement on the prior year, resulting in an EBITA of

9.3m (2013 7.9m). Operating profits, after amortisation of goodwill

and depreciation were 6.8m.

The UK market continued to deliver the most significant profit for the

Group, but a greater proportion from growing overseas markets helped

to boost the overall results. Amongst the highlights were a stand-out

performance from market-leading cycle-to-work provider Cyclescheme,

and the UK Meetings & Events business which delivered an outstanding

result bouncing back strongly from a loss-making result in 2013.

Consolidation was a key focus for Grass Roots throughout 2014, and an

improving UK economy coupled with securing a number of large and

long-term client contracts enabled the organisation to realise one of the

most successful trading years in its history.

has announced a substantial improvement in its financial

results for 2014, with an EBITDA of 9.3m (2013: 7.9m)

and operating profits of 6.8m.

The full years results reveal strong performances

across the global Group but show the UK market

delivering the most significant profit for the Group.

Among the highlights were the UK Meetings & Events

business which bounced back strongly from a

loss-making result in 2013.
